We are headed to Florida October 22 but we are driving so I'm allowing a few days to get there. I have RPR reservations for October 29th thru October 31st and then Checking into WL October 31st thru November 3rd.

We will be at the Portofino Bay Hotel on the Premier Club Level Oct. 14-17 and the Contemporary Tower Oct. 17-24. I just added the days at the "other park" today and I am excited.

My DH and I will be going October 23 - October 28. Looking forward to the Food & Wine Festival for the first time! We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort.

I also can't wait to do the Food & Wine Festival and I will be doing that on friday with my friend. I can't wait!

We, DH, DS(4), DS(1) and I, will be at AKL concierge - Oct. 17th-20th and BWV(1 bedroom BWV view) - Oct. 20th-29th, with my in-laws joining us in their own 1 bedroom - Oct. 24th-27th.

I haven't booked yet, but I'm considering surprising my DW with a short 3 or 4 night trip possibly Oct 7 thru Oct 10 or 11, or possibly the weekend before.

We would probably stay at Pop or POR.

How are the crowds over Columbus day weekend?

Debbie-we'll be at the Poly 10/22 - 10/29. Thinking of doing MNSSHP on the 26th as well.

When were you there in Oct 03? How was the weather? I was at the Poly 10/26 - 10/30 in 2002 and it was HOT-HOT-HOT-I think high 80's everyday. I was 6 months pregnant so it was uncomfortable! I was also at Disney in Oct 96 and it was hot but I don't remember the exact dates.

We're planning a quickie trip 10/3-10/5. We'll be at my in laws for a few days prior and will be meeting up with friends for the 3rd-5th. We'll be doing MNSSHP on 10/3 (we also did it last year and had a blast), as well as attending the Food & Wine Festival for the first time. I don't have the room booked yet, but am hoping to book WL since we haven't tried this one yet. The last 2 visits have been to POR but last year the room needed upgrading badly. We went over Columbus Day weekend last year, and the actual Columbus Day holiday (Monday) it was very crowded at AK. By Tuesday the crowds had died down substantially. It was pretty hot as well. We wore shorts to MNSSHP with no problems.

We're going October 24-Nov1. Staying at the GF-lagoon view. We were originally staying at the BC but switched to the GF-it's our favorite place to stay. It's the first time we're not staying concierge-hoping for an upgrade-Always wishing!
