With the lousy summer we are having so far........planning for WDW in Oct is the only thing keeping me sane these days

We'll be there Oct 15 thru the 22nd and staying at Dixie Landings, now Port Orleans Riverside. The International Food and Wine Festival will be going on at Epcot. Be sure and not miss it!

We are! October 26 - November 1. DH,me,DD,DSIL,DGD age 9,DGS age 6 and DGD age 1 1/2. Have not made reservations yet so not sure where we are staying this time.

this wine and food festival. when we go to the world this is the time of year we go and as always the wine and food festival is there. now my question is ( am i missing something) why is this so great. thank you for any info.

EIFWF is for folks who love trying new foods, or who enjoy beer and/or wine. We are not fancy gourmets or connoisseurs (although this event has appeal for those experts too), but we love to stroll around and sample the different offerings. I've tasted some pretty strange things, but typically wonderful food. Everyone forgets to mention all the different, wonderful beers. We have made this our last-night, grown-up event for the past couple years and will do so again on Oct 18 this year. DD5 will spend the evening with her Meemaw.

I will be at the WL with my DS. Oct 25 - Nov 1.
I already bought my MNSSHP for Oct 31 and PS for Liberty Tree Tavern the same night. Hardly any seatings left..I was lucky.

I cant wait.
Now to figure out what costume to wear. Should I be a Princess or Malificent? HMmmm
