Who's Going in October 2005??!!*MNSSHP dates & info*

We (5 adults) are going October 22 - 29 and are staying at OKW. We decided to go at this time to attend the F&W Festival (1st time) and hadn't even thought about MNSSHP at all. Since BIL is a huge Halloween fan, maybe we should consider this too.

Can't get the clips to work...I don't know what I'm doing wrong.?.

I am so excited today though  I just got our airline tickets. Flying NWA...first time with them. Hope I'm not dissappointed. Tickets were a little higher than I'd like (186pp), but I am scared to death that they are going to skyrocket with the oil prices! :scared: But, it was still under budget, so that's good anyway! :flower:

I also just bought a digital camer! Cannon A95. It was by the suggestion of another fellow DISer. I am soooooo excited about that!

Heck, you'd think I'm rich by the way I'm spending money this week :rotfl:

Oh, well...its for the greater good of humanity :earsboy: (mine anyway) :p (just dont tell DH)

The clips will work, you just have to wait a little bit for them to start. It takes a while for them to get start. :)

MommyBoo!!! Those clips are fabulous! Thank you for them- AndI can't wait until DH gets home from work to show them off! What date are they from? The main street scene seemed sort of crowded :confused3

We are (Family of 5). October 6-16th to enjoy MNSSHP on the 11th! Third time . can't wait! Plan to make a PS at LTT.

You're welcome. I'm glad you like them.

Tikkipoo, I hope you got them to work. I was going to suggest what MinnieM21 did.

Pumpkinfish, those were taken on Halloween night. It was really crowded but we still had a lot of fun. The main street shots were also taken at the very end of the night, so everyone who wasn't waiting for the shoppers in their group like us :teeth: was walking out.

Although, come to think of it, it was pretty much like that most of the evening. Dh was really glad we got to spend Halloween night in Disney World but now we've done it and we don't have to do it again (at least for a long time). With a 20 month old this year, things will be much more laid back and we're hoping the Tuesday night (25th) party will be less crowded.

You're welcome! This is such a fun thread and all of this has so gotten me itching to go! October seems so FAR!!

Bought air tickets today, going Sept. 30 - Oct. 3rd, with a friend and maybe her grown daughter. MNSSHP on Oct. 2nd. My 3rd time at one, friend's first.
We're staying at BWV!

Bobbi :flower:

After much switching dates around because of DD's preschool schedule, we will be there Oct 8th-15th, with MNSSHP on the 11th! We're staying at the Polynesian :flower:

We are seriously considering a trip to WDW in October.

I have two DD ( DIS member two weeks and already writing in DIS-speak!) ages 6 and 9.

It might be hard to believe but I am considering NOT taking my kids to the MNSSHP. They're a bit on the sensitive side when it comes to halloween gremlins, and I am thinking this MMSSHP might too spooky ( headless horseman!!). I mean, the older one says she is ready for the haunted mansion- but I don't think so- though I hope so.

So why do you think- overly protective Dad? Will I regret this this decision later?

For some reason, I'm all giddy today!! :Pinkbounc

I've paid off my resort bill, paid off my airline ticket, and bought MYW tickets!! AND I found $$Disney$$ !! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

:cheer2:

Mommyboo, forgot to tell you that DH LOVED the scenes you had from Halloween night!

Happy Easter Everyone!!! :flower:

Unfortunately, I do. That's why it is the "Not So Scary Halloween Party". I think that you can surely avoid anything that may be too spooky for the kids. Mostly, it is like a party. When I was there there were stages set up with DJ's for a dance party. The kids loved that! There isn't anything different with the rides (accept for the wait!). If they like to get dressed up, I'd say go for it. How old are they anyway?

Happy Easter to you too! :flower:

I agree with Tikkipoo. That's why the party is called Not So Scary. It shoud be a lot of fun, it won't be scary and I think your daughters would enjoy the party. :flower:
Tikkipoo, he said his daughters were 6 and 9.

We are going oct 25-nov 2 we are staying at POR for the 3rd time :)

This is our 2nd time going for Halloween and we love it!!
