My dh and I will be there from Jan 29th through Feb 9! I can't wait!!!! This is the time that the time drags by. We go every year the first week in Feb. Were any of you there last year when they had the international home builders convention? It was full but it was still nice.

We're planning to go in late January/early Feb. Should I be worried about this convention for 2008? We were hoping it would be empty.

We went during that time last year too. The parks were fine, short waits if at all. But the hotels booked up fast and solid! We were supposed to stay at AKL but I wanted to add an extra night about 2 months prior and I couldn't, it was booked solid due to the convention. At the last minute something became available at OKW for the amount of nights we wanted so we quickly switched over. It was a blessing in disguise as far as I'm concerned because we LOVED OKW!! We are going there again next time too.:)

That's good to hear. We're actually going to use my wife's parents timeshare for a week at a close off-site resort, so hotel rooms aren't an issue. I just hope it's not crowded. Thanks!

Going the split week with March.

We are!!! Just booked today.

Feb. 1-10th at WL. :cheer2:

(I knew making DH go to Whispering Canyon for dinner would pay off.) :lmao:

Haven't booked yet, but planning on Jan 31 - Feb 3...prefer WL, but AKL or CSR will work too :goodvibes

We are going Feb. 7-14, staying at ASMu Family Suites. :cool1: I made ADRs yesterday for Cindy's breakfast, Chef Mickey dinner, and Crystal Palace lunch.

Our girls (4 and 2) know we've been talking about WDW, but have no idea we're actually planning the trip. If I can keep the secret until Christmas, I'm going to wrap up a countdown chain, autograph books, new princess shirts, etc. as part of the surprise. They're going to lose their minds!

:cool1: I just booked our flights (but DH doesn't know that yet:rolleyes1 )! Sooooo excited- I was able to get the flights that I originally wanted AND they were part of a Web Fare! Gotta love that! We are now flying non-stop (roundtrip) from Detroit for about $700! It's still a lot, but, hey, I remember flying from Detroit (non-stop, roundtrip) to California for over $600- and that was back in 1984!:lmao:
Let's be honest- the tickets could have cost more than what I paid and I wouldn't care: We're Going To Disney!:yay:  :yay:  :yay:

We're looking at Feb. 12-17th. It will be a big group, with grandparents, aunts and uncles, and a cousin who's never been to Disneyworld before. I'm so excited!!!

Sorry it took me so long to respond. My internet has been out. No, we haven't tried Boma's yet. We are meeting with our DVC guide on our last day to do the tour, and we wanted to go look around at AKL afterwards, so we decided to eat dinner there as well. Everything I've read made it seem really tasty, so I'm giving it a try.:thumbsup2

Hey everyone,
Come select your days in my Poll. I'm just trying to figure out the busiest days while I'm there. I would have listed every day of the month so we could check out the entire month, but the polls only allow for 12 spaces! Anyhoo, come check it out and if you are going to be there on any of the days please select them in the poll. So far it is exactly the way I thought it would be. The busiest day will be the 9th, I'm sure.
