For those of you going (or to those who have been in December's in the past), what could I expect to pay for a moderate (either CBR or POFQ) or deluxe (either AKL or WL) per night during the first week of December? I know it's value season, but the rates the WDW site is quoting me still seem higher than rack rate.

We're considering buying AP's this year, and going in December (never seen the parks at Christmas time), and then again next spring.

We're going December 2nd through the 11th. Staying at VWL part of the time. Not sure where we'll spend the weekends. It will be me, DH, DS (5) and DD (1 1/2).

Well we used Magical Gatherings. Disney released the codes for December and we stayed at the WL from 12-4 - 12-10-04. Instead of paying 199.00 a night, I believe we got it for 119.00. Even if we didn't get the code, staying at the WL and at Christmas time, it would have been well worth the price. If you get a chance regardless of when you are going, make sure you go to Trails End at Ft. Wilderness for breakfast. It was pretty cheap. 9 something for a person and it's all you can eat. At least this way you can walk around Ft. Wilderness.
