Who's going Aug 26-Sep ???

Just curious who maybe heading to the land of magic the same time as us. Would be pretty cool to run into someone while we are there.

We are going for a very short Birthday trip from Aug 26-29th. We are staying at ASSP. I WISH we were staying where you are....but not this trip! We are doing just a short, spur of the moment budget trip this time.

A short trip is better than no trip This is our first time staying at the GF thanks to my mom I keep telling her this must be my birthday present since my birthday will be while there. I must admit this will be the best present EVER!!

Hello from a fellow western/upstater! the drive isn't too horrible... are you planning on stopping halfway? the medians (esp. in the southern states) have the most beautiful wildflowers in them.....

and YAYAY!! we will be at SSR the 25th to Sept 2! I can't wait...

...i think i need to go pack something!

We are going from the 22nd aug. to sept. 3rd. Then several days at Daytona and St. Augustine.

We are Driving from Wis.

We are in Central New york... between binghamton and Albany. Planning on stopping in North Carolina. Hopefully getting more than halfway on the first day. I dread the drive. DD8 has her DVD player and games for the backseat. We usually drive a couple of hours and then need to stretch. I just know we won't even hit the New york border and will hear "ARE WE THERE YET>>>>> HOW MUCH LONGER!?)

As for packing... I have a box above my computer, that I keep putting things in that I don't want to forget, and new clothes so DH won't wear them.! He works on cars, so you can imagine what his clothes look like! Back to planning!

GOing to the Pirate and Princess party, just waiting for our tickets to come in...

Last year we drove from New York, stopped In virginia over nite to visit my dad, drove to Daytona, stayed there for 4 days (pre-vacation) and then into Disney to POR for 14 days. Drove back to Virginia (stayed with father) for 2 days and then came home... We were on "vacation" for 24 days.... it was AMAZING! we are not going to get to that again for a very very long time, but your trip looks pretty close so enjoy!!

Are you doing Pirate and Princess on the 31st? we are still on the fence about going and decided to wait and buy the tickets there if we want to go...
You should stop every couple of hours to stretch... as long as you don't hang out to long it's really helpful. We gave up on stopping at restaurants.. if the weather is good we have a "cookout" at a rest area... at a restaurant you go in and sit down... but the rest areas have room to run, stretch and just be "out" for a bit. We have DS16, DS13, and DD4 and they actually "like" to drive to Florida! we play all those silly games, like the ABC's of billboards, etc... it's not till we hit the Florida line that everyone really starts to loose it, by then you think your there, but you still have 3 more hours!
We are flying this year, but it's only 3 of us, maybe we'll bump into you!

We are doing the Pirates and Princess Party on the 31st (I believe). I don't have my magic plan book with me ( I'm at work). The day of the Pirates and Princesses party we are also doing Bippy Boutique. We are driving in front kentucky although we live in Michigan, have to go by and pick my mom up. Not looking forward to the drive but can't wait to get there.

I'll be there from 8/28 till 9/3 staying at ASMovies. Doing the Pirates and Princess party (cant remember what day though). I'm moving from upstate NY to FL toward the end of October (right off the 1st exit off I-4 from Disney) so I'll be going like everyday. ºOº
