Who's from NH?

What a beautiful weekend. However I didn't see much of it. I am giving my craft room a makeover. My HD did all of the painting (walls, floor, ceiling). I was in charge of sorting and organizing. The next thing on my list is to get a new sewing machine. I know that there are a lot of new products out there. I know there is still time to get one. I need to get sewing new curtains. Most of all get making window decorations for our room at POP. :santa Do you folks have any Ideas. Thanks in advance.:disrocks:

Craft room makeover?!?! Sounds wonderful! I think it may be a good item for the DH's "Honey Do" list!

If I come up with anything unique for your window, I'll let you know. Every once in a while I come up with something really good!

I assume that you're headed down for the Holidays?

This will be the first time for my DH. We will be joining my daughter and her husband and two grandsons at POP. We be there Dec.7th-14th. The five of us were there in 2006. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. Now all I have to do is get that new sewing machine. I heard that Viking is pretty good. Wish me luck. I need all the help I can get::MickeyMo

Just bumping us up!

What a HOT day here in NH! I so wish the schools had AC as I had to work there today. Talk about sweaty!

This was me outside at recess duty.

We were hot over here in VT as well - it was brutal in our school too. AND we had open house night (just got home) I thought I was going to die in my classroom all day today. The poor kids were so lethargic!

Hey All!! I had to chime in - I am from Concord, NH! Excited to see so many other Diser's with NH ties.

Hey from Hudson NH! Is it me or is not going to WDW in the summer due to heat sometimes not a valid excuse? Other than this year, there have been times where it's been hotter here than in FL in the summer (ok, not as humid, but). We've never been as a family in the summer.

I really like that our April vacations are last week in April - the crowds are much better then!

If only Southwest would be cheaper again..... :-(

How about this weather? Summer finally arrived:goodvibes . Suppose to go to the Dragway this weekend, but it sounds like Sat will be rainy from Hanna.
Hopefully Sunday will be ok.

Holy cow today was even hotter! And with no A/C, my students were cranky, sweaty and antsy. Glad today is over! Not that I'm wishing for what's coming down the pike in a few months, but golly, couldn't we have gotten this weather in July???

I hear you! I worked again today in DS7 school and couldn't believe how hot it was. It always amazes me how many kids come to school with pants and/or long sleeve shirts on days like today. What were those parents thinking? (Maybe the kids dressed themselves.)

Sounds like Hanna won't hit us until early Sunday morning. I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I have a party that I'm going to (cousins DH is retiring from the National Guard) late Saturday afternoon and I believe it's an outdoor thing. Don't feel like being squished into the house.

What also kills me is when the kids come in the wintertime in flip flops and thin tank tops and they complain because it's so cold! My own DD (15) fights me when I ask her to dress properly for our winters up here!

Former Wolfeboro resident here. My Mom still has a home up there. I visit a few times during the summer.

You know I got to thinking in our enthusiam about WDW why don't we just give our name, address, phone number, age, photo and all instead of bits and pieces at a time?

That is what we are doing giving out infor a piece at a time and some in here are not even giving us a clue if they are male or female. We put restrictions on our underage kids but not on ourselves.

We tell all, then go on to another thread and forget what we wrote in this one. We are planning a trip to have fun so if we are going to meet let us plan it in groups.

When some 'no sex. name hits on us we don't know if they are male who likes females or hates females, we don't know if it is a woman who likes men or hates men and most of us in here have small children to protect too.

The longest time a child was missing in WDW was said to have been seven and a half hours. How can a child be missing for seven and a half hours in WDW? Do we really want to find out?

Good Evening NH!

A beautiful yet cooler day here today. Had to work again at DS school and was happy  for the less humid weather.
