And more importantly........who has finished it?

We tried but it was just too much for the 5 of us. Me, DW, and 3 DS's (8,9,11).

Here we are! We ate it for dinner one night and had a hard time eating it all! It is soooooo good though!

I've finished it with my wife, Mom, and Dad (but mostly me and my Dad). Wouldn't have been so bad if we didn't eat lunch right before. The worst is the end, where it's just a goop of syrups and toppings.

I do remember asking the waitress if anyone had finished it on their own. She says yes, and the solo record was just under nine minutes. I still don't know how they did it.

We finished it! DS10 ate most of it, but the other 4 of us ate quite a bit, too. All of this after eating lunch and with half the restaurant watching us to see if we could do it!

We shared one amongst six people (including a 13 year old boy) and finished it. We had even just finished lunch there, although some of us shared entrees.

The Kitchen Sink has 8 scoops of ice cream + toppings, so that was a little over a scoop per person, plus the toppings. :goodvibes

My DH was brave enough to attempt the kitchen sink on his own a couple years back. He got about 2/3 through before he had to stop. :lmao:

My dd begs every year for us to get one, but there is only the three of us - me and my dd16 and dd14. I just hate wasting that much, but I may give in this year and go for it.

It's been about 5 or 6 years ago, but my DW, our two oldest DS's and me tried this and couldn't finish it. My youngest was sleeping in the stroller and missed out. I will say that we were slightly disappointed as our sink dish was missing the handles. Oh well, the picture just wasn't as cute.

we started well.........full of hope

I could swear it has more than 8 scoops....otherwise we would have been able to polish it off between the 5 of us. It comes with 5 varieties of ice cream.

We are a family of 5 and we are looking forward to finishing it! Better if we cant I suppose, but we are sure going to try!:cool1:

Does your cruise leave on Thursday? Our son and his family are on the Magic, leaving Thursday!

We will be trying the Kitchen Sink in 2011 when our son & family travel with us. It looks so good!!!

"I" did it ! :sad2:

OK... so "I" didn't do it.... :lmao:
"We" did it. :grouphug:
There was a total of eight of us... :duck::jumping1:
Three adults... :dance3:
Three late teenaers... :rockband:
Two early teenagers... :bounce::jumping3:

DH and I took 5 of our competitive gymnasts age range from 14 - 17. The 5 of them ate the whole thing....and then, our fittest, thinest, healthiest eater of the group proclaims, "This was the best day of my entire life!" It was pretty fun watching them eat it.

We've done it but didn't finish it. There were 8 of us but 5 of the group were kids ranging from 3 to 11years. We'll give it another go this year but we have lost four of the group so its just myself, dh and our two girls 5 and 7years.
