Who's doing some early planning? I mean...early. 2027!

Good planning! It sounds like we might overlap with them for a day or two, but hopefully they will be busy competing during the day!

I think it may start on the 22nd. But we leave that day. My only concern is they stay at CSR so I'm hoping when we book I don't have issues getting the 21st due to rooms being blocked!

New worry unlocked! 🤣

It seems there is always something to worry about, even over a year out. 😆

Hopefully the cheerleaders won’t cause full tower rooms!

Planning on February '27 quick 2-3 night for RunDisney Princess weekend and then December '27 cruise/WDW trip with our DVC at wilderness lodge!

My farthest out Disney trip is Oct 2026. We do have a trip to New Zealand in March 2027 (booked like 8 months ago) and I am looking at the Cotswolds for May 2027.

@japanese maple , I forgot to quote your post.

We are going the week of the 19th, but not for dance.

The dance event her studio participates in (Dance the World) is usually just a showcase/dance down Main Street/banquet, not a competition. They haven’t competed at Disney, so I’m not sure how those affect crowd levels.

But I think Dance the World clogs up the parks more than a competition because their events happen at MK and EP, only last a couple of hours, and then the dancers and families stay in the park. If you want to avoid them, don’t go in late June/early July or mid December. Also contrary to popular belief, they aren’t staying at the All Stars. DTW hotels are POP, POR, AKL and Swolphin.
@DanceDisney23 Hi!!
Have you all participated in the DTW events before? We are going summer 2026 - had a specific question about the Epcot Stage Show if you have any experience would love to pick your brain!
Thanks!!

Hi, yes, we did the stage show a few years ago. Ask away!
Thank you!!
We are booked through the company but my parents are not - does the EPCOT show tend to sell out? The touring company said the tickets just for the EPCOT show are sold "at the door" $60 per person. I would book them through the touring company but it's literally double the cost and I don't think they'll be staying the full 4 days. Just wanting to figure out if I just suck it up and pay for them to book through the company or try to do the "stand by" line for the stage show!!!

We had an uncle joining us stand by, and he had no issues getting his ticket at the door. I think there was still plenty of seating left during the show.

It’s always a gamble of course, but I would say the risk that tickets sell out is very low. The show is generally just for the dancers and their families/friends. The general public is unaware of the EPCOT happenings.
