We just bought tickets to monster's inc. Which at the time was the only show coming to our state. Has anyone seem it?

WEll, I went on to the website to see a princess wishes show about 3 hours away from us in may. I'm really contemplating getting tickets for that one too, but that's a 100 bucks that I could put in our WDW fund:rolleyes: Has anyone seen this show?

If I hear rave reviews about it I think I'll get some tickets.. hmmm decisions decisions

We saw Monster's Inc on Ice in January. It was a good show. We have seen MI, Beauty and the Beast, and 100yrs of Magic. MI couldn't stick to the storyline exactly as well as some others just b/c of so many scene changes, so many characters. So, if you have a child who knows the story backwards and forwards, they will notice the subtle differences. And my 2 yr old was scared b/c the audience is supposed to scream several times in the show.

My girls really enjoyed Princesses on Ice but I don't think I would drive 3 hours to see it. It was a wonderful show but I think I would take that money and spend it on something special in WDW. Especially once you add in gas, parking, etc.

We saw Monsters, Inc. and DS4 thoroughly enjoyed it. He had only watched the movie the day before and still loved the show.

We saw MI as well a few months ago. My 4 yo ds loved it, 2 yo wouldn't sit and I hated it (thought it was sooo boring.) But hey it's about the kids not me!:thumbsup2

I saw MI in January. I thought it was a bore but both my 5 yo and my 2 yo enjoyed it.

we are going to Princess on Ice on wednesday...can't wait!!!:wizard: princess:

We have gone about a dozen times.. we have seen a few 2 times since the age gap in our kids. I would not drive 3 hours for the princess one.. That may end up in your town next year. Ours always has a pattern.. we get the new one every year Thanksgiving week( this year is hs musical on ice) and a repeat in January.

We are going this Sunday. We spent a fortune on tickets, but we did get front row tickets. I haven't told my DD, I want it to be a surprise. Kind of a "preview" for WDW vacation in November!;)

Thanks for all the replies. I guess I'll wait till the next one comes around. We also got great seats. 3rd row seats. front and center. yay! I hope DD2 likes it. Is there alot of music? This girl will sit through anything that has music. We all say that she's going to want to be a performer when she grows up because the girl stands on our end table (it's extremely sturdy) and sings her favorite songs for us. LOL It's like her stage. We hear Part of your world on a daily basis.
I hope we have a blast, but I didn't realize how long the show was before I bought tickets. 2 hours! yikes.

We seen Monsters Inc last year. It was good, but gave my dd age 4 the idea that there are monsters in her closet so now she thinks she needs to sleep with the closet light on and the door open. :sad2: We just went last Saturday and seen Princess Wishes. It was really good. We all liked it. :goodvibes

We have seen just about every DOI show that is out now and in the past. I have to say, although I just love them, I would never drive 3 hours to see the show. Is there a place that they may come closer to you. Sometimes, you just have to wait a little and they will circle around.

We saw Monsters Inc last year, it was a lot of fun! My kids still play with their souveniers!

We have the Disneyland Adventure one coming to our town next month. I'm thinking of getting tickets. Has anyone seen this one?

We took our two daughters (4 and 7) to see Dsineyland Adventure today and I was not impressed. My four year old daughter has been quite excited about going for a while now. She was so bored at the show, she asked if we could go home at intermission. I think part of the problem was that this show is really more of an Incredibles show. They are on the ice for about 90% of the show. We focused more on the Disneyland adventure when we bought the tickets. Unfortunately, disneyland ended up merely being the setting for the Incredibles Show. It's too bad, my seven year old would probably enjoy the princesses show but I doubt we will be back to Disney on Ice.

I would also add that the food and merchandise prices were outragous. I expect things to be overpriced at this type of event but I think it is disgusting that Disney charges $10 for cotton candy. Programs were $15, shaved Ice was $10, Lightchasers $20(lower quality than the kind they sell in the parks for $13).

Now this is a different show but it was good we saw Toy Story Two
It was awesome

I took dd to Princesses on Ice when she was 4. SHe had a blast, although I agree with pp about it being $$$. I spent like $20 on a wand that she managed to drop and break minutes later.

We took DD to see MI when she was 4 and we all loved it. Although as said previously, it's $$$!

We saw Monsters Inc on Ice in January 2006 and then Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey on Ice this January. We (DH and I) liked Monsters, Inc much better but my DD loved them both. I think she actually like the magical journey one better because it had a terrific Peter Pan segment and an Ariel segment. The rest was ho-hum. The entire MI show was entertaiing.

When we saw the MI show we spent a small fortune on toys, etc. So this year, having learned our lesson, we brought some toys with us we bought in WDW. She had her Pal Mickey clipped to her jacket and had her Buzz Lightyear spinning light up toy. She didn't care that they came from home and weren't purchased there. And, some of the kids around us were envious that her toys were "better."

I have been to Jungle Book, and one other, and I can not remember for the life of me what the second was. We really enjoyed them.
