Whoops - I accidently told DH what his Xmas Pressie is!!

Whoops!!

I have booked to take DH to Scarborough for 3 nights from 30th Dec to 2nd Jan as part of his Xmas Pressie.

It was all a big secret but then I had to tell him that we were going away somewhere as he is working (he does painting) over Xmas and I had to make sure that he kept certain days free.
But I kept the location a secret until Monday, when we were on the way home from work talking about Xmas and not having much time to actually relax, and silly ole me goes 'that's why I'm glad we are going to Scarborough so we can have a rest away from it all' and he looked at me and goes 'so we are going to Scarborough are we!?' and I just went 'oh!'.

I was really annoyed with myself as I had kept it secret for ages!
Doh!
Oh well, at least I know he is ok about taking some time off from work, and he is really looking forward to it now.

Hope you have all managed to keep your DH's or DW's Xmas pressies a secret.
I don't know what he has got me, and I am really excited!!

The kids have got DH a 'Spud Trooper' (a Mr. Potato Head dressed up as a storm trooper from Star Wars).

He pointed one out to DD on Saturday to which she replied

"Yes Daddy, we have already got you one of those for Christmas. Mummy ordered it on the computer and it came!"

Hope you have a great time - it will be lovely to get away!
