Patience has paid off! I called (again) this morning to see if anything had opened up at the fort for the week of christmas this year, and we found something. I got 6 out of my 8 nights wanted consecutive! So, right now for the first 2 nights I'll be staying in Pop, the rest will be our first trip to the Fort!

Thanks to all who advised keep trying!!!

I'm soooo excited right now I'm ready to burst!!!

Keep trying.... Everyone from this board and from CRO have said the closer you get, your chances increase b/c reservations are cancelled for people who haven't put a deposit down (within the alloted time), people will start to cancel as it gets closer to the actual date so as not to lose their deposit.
