Happy Day! I headed to Target early this morning and met up with the Target employee beginning reductions in the toy clearance. What we decided is 50% went to 75%, and if it had been 30% it became 50%. Yippee! DD3 and I had a grand time scanning and finding excellent deals.

We found Legos--most were 50 but some at 75%!! Can't beat that!

Picked up a few Barbies--If you were waiting for the Princess and the Pauper set to go down...they are now only $4 each. Sadly, mine had at least 30 of Princess Annaliese (which DD got for Christmas) and not one of Erica. Sigh. I would have gladly gotten her one, but we did find a King Dominic. Many other styles of Barbies for super cheap.

Also saw board games for 75%, Leap Pad books for 50%, My Little Ponies for $2 and Polly Pocket sets for $1.50 and many more!!

Hope someone can take advantage!!

Man, you guys are killing me.

Target is too far away and I don't have the time to get there and back again.
I have 3 of my children's birthdays coming up and it would be really nice to get some of the deals.

I'll have to live vicariously through all of you getting the deals.

My Target still only had 50% off of most toys. A few baby toys were 75%. Usually the third week of January is when the toys all hit 75% here in GA.

Guess I'll have to talk a walk at lunch. Luckily (but unfortunately for my checkbook) I have a hugh Target right across the street from my office building.

I checked my target this morning and the clearance toys were pretty much gone, but I had some other things to buy and found alot of clearance in their personal care section, like certain scents of body wash were marked down and just some scents of Johnson's kids body wash, some deoderants, shaving cream, etc. They were name brands so with coupons they could add up to some great deals.

Did anyone see the Pixter or its software at 75%?

Thanks! :)

Not here in CT. Still 30% and 50% -- and the pickings are very slim! Just one clearance isle, and really didn't see anything there that I'd get even if it went to 75%.

Did have fun buying 75% and 90% off Christmas stuff for goody bags (Lego pullbacks, Click Its, yo-yos, Hello Kitty & Strawberry Shortcake polish and glosses), so can not complain at all!:flower1:

Now I can't wait for after Valentine's Day sales!!

I raced to Target after work and got there and was sooo dissapointed that there were hardly any toys left. Well THEN! I looked over on the other side of the store and saw people with carts of toys! They moved all the clearance toys to where the xmas stuff was. I found quite a bit at 75% off. I got the Haunted House matchbox set for 4.98 (regular 19.99), a wooden marble set for $4.98 (19.99), the hot wheels slimecano for $10.00 regular $40.00! Today is DS's sixth birthday and he really wanted the slimecano, so I'm kind of glad I found it (I say kind of because it looks like a pain to assemble!). I saw a bunch of the Parents brand activity tables for $32.xx (regular $130.00) and a bunch of the wooden trains, car sets and dollhouses that were normally $49.98 for $12.44.

I saw software for 3.24 which is 75% off. Didn't see the actual units though. In fact, the entire aisle that used to have Fisher Price toys is GONE!

Thanks for the info on the pixter stuff. I'll see if one of my stores has any left.

I thought from another board :smooth: you decided against this. My DS wanted one of these too but we went with the rocket park. My house is enough of a mess without one of those :earboy2:

Just got back from my Target and toys are still 50% off and there were tons of toys, 2 full aisles, packed. I'm wondering when they will go to 75%?

May have to check in the morning before work.

I know....that woman said it was huge and a nightmare to put together. It was the last one on the shelf and it was just calling my name for 10.00 LOL. He just wanted it so bad and his little face lit up when I gave it to him. He just likes it because of the "slime" he said. For $10.00 I figure it could be a throwaway toy if it's a huge PITA!

Okay I just read the reviews for the slimecano on Amazon.com and it says the slime stains clothes carpet and walls, so this will definately be going back! I just told DS we could get him something else instead (the Lego Duplo Castle...hardly the same price though!) and he seems okay with that.

I spent a couple of hours in Target looking for toys to use as prizes at our school's bingo night. I ended up with 81 toys for $135! I pretty much grabbed anything that was $2.50/under. I also picked up the KNEX Roller Coaster which was $20 instead of $80 to use as a raffle prize.

I also found this really cool outdoor fireplace that was screened in on all four-sides for $35 instead of $140. The screens are removable for doing smores, etc.

I got the Slimecano for $10 but my DS suggested using it without the slime and we got him the Cyborg Attack for $8.50. I also got:

2 Bop-its for $3.88 each
A keychain Bop-it extreme for $3.88
Gooey Luey game for $2.47
Thomas Christmas train set for $6.19

I alos saw Thomas water thing for the train set for under $3 and lots and lots of other stuff. I almost got the rocket park but it was still $20. I wish I had more time but it was late and I walked back to toys without a cart, thankfully I had my DD and a basket for he small stuff.

Stopped again this morning at Target and the toys are still only 50% and there are still TONS of toys - still wondering when my Target is going to mark them down more?? I have my eye on several things but want to spend as less as I can as DS doesn't really NEED any more toys but if they are next to nothing then I can't refuse.

Mine is still 50% too. There are a few things I'd like to get, but I'm trying to hold out to see if the price goes down. But the I risk it selling.

I know how you feel. I don't know why some Targets are marking down more than others - doesn't make any sense to me.

ToonTown Donald with vhs cartoon movie reg $12.99 for $6.48
magic*mates voice activated Simba reg $12.99 for $6.10
