Whoo Hoo! Just got the confirmation papers

We just recieved our confirmation papers for a wonderful trip in June. We are staying 5 nights at Grand Californian, then 3 nights partial ocean view in Coronado del Mar!! Yes, probably not the best value for our points, but isn't this the reason we buy into DVC....to try out new places??? We can't wait. There is SO much to do in this area, I am not quite sure where to begin.

It is wonderful to have the many trade options DVC offers. While not the "best value" compared to a DVC resort, the DL resorts are not a "bad" use of points. Accomodatios in CA are very pricey. we paid $130 a night for a Marriott Courtyard room, nothing fancy at all, near Knott's in 2001.

We DVC owners bought our points to enjoy as we each see fit, and if in the future I chose to use them at DL, then that is my choice and I couldn't care less what someone thinks about it.

Enjoy your trip, there is a lot to see, both at Disneyland, and the general So Cal area.

We have gone to DisneyLand each of the past three years and stayed at Grand Cal (you will love it) and DisneyLand Hotel - used DVC points too! - LOVED IT!!!!

You MUST and I did say MUST have breakfast at Storeytellers - it is the best rest in the Disney family
