After hearing all of my talking about possibly renting from a DVC member for next spring, my dad would like to call and talk to someone from DVC about purchasing. He and my mom own a ts with Marriott in HH, and he said maybe he would like to add another....( I am trying to not get any hopes up here :) ) Who do all of you recommend he speak with? Have you had certain individuals that you have used to get information from without being too overbearing? I read a few names posted before on other posts, but I have searched and searched this a.m. for him and cannot find the thread. He doesn't have a PC so he would need to phone directly as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

He can call 1-800-800-9100 and request the free video and information packet. A guide will be assigned to answer any questions.

Enjoy!!

I think you will find getting information to be totally non-pressure. There's no need to be concerned about being hounded once you request information. They will give you as much or as little as you like.

Our guide is Randy Kruger. He is completely laid back. We stayed on the fence for a little over a year, and we never felt pressured by Randy! His direct line is 1-800-501-8671.

The number 1 rule is to not pressure people. You will not have any un-comfortable, high pressure sales calls at all. As a matter of facy, you will have no pressure at all.

Remeber to investigate resales also. Good deal can be had and some resorts can only be obtained through resale.

DVC sales is not completely above falsehoods though. They will use lines like "If you buy at VB, the MB discount is higher, you can save some money and visit WDW any time you like", this will be used in conjunction with "Home resort doesn't matter"....these are both lies, if a DVC sales person uses either of these, tell him that he is a liar and ask for a different guide.

As far as timeshare sales people go, DVC is the best product out there for visiting WDW parks, the sales people don't need to use lies, pressure and slime to sell DVC contracts.......unfortunately, some sleaze does slide through.

We bought in '92, added on in '93 and have never been happier with a purchase in our lives.
