Have you given the TA a chance to respond yet? Do they work weekends? Marionnette is right - your room was either booked through the wholesale or convention/groups department (the one day water park ticket gives it away as that is something offered with convention tickets). The TA would have to call that particular department to get this changed and their hours differ from Walt Disney Travel Co. hours. Plus, there have been a lot of glitches in the groups department system lately. Yes, the TA should be able to make this change, but if they don't, you have some good back-up plans.
DW14, she did respond initially saying when I checked in on 8/7 at POFQ I could ask for an early release of my tickets from the 8/10-8/17 reservation, but that doesn't help me to book FP+'s for 8/8 today. Even Guest Services told me all the TA has to do is call and request the change. This is why I'm frustrated. So I am now waiting for another response from an email I sent yesterday, because I still have 3 days left where I can cancel with the TA for a full refund and rebook a trip through WDW directly. The reason for my original post was to show options I was thinking of doing and to see if anyone could point out something I was forgetting.
