When we go to WDW in October, DD will be 14 months and should be drinking whole milk by then. Do places in WDW sell whole milk or is it served at restaurants? We will be staying at the Poly concierge - any possibility of it being served in the lounge?

I've been able to find milk at the resorts and many locations in the parks.

PS- I grew up in Novi!

Whole milk was the only kind sold at the world. so no problems for you! My girls are used to skim, but didn't seem to notice the difference.

For some reason, when we travelled before DD, I always thought that they only served lowfat or skim milk. Good to know we will be able to get whole milk when we need it.

I agree, whole milk is hard to find when traveling, most places seem to carry 2% and sometimes skim. There may be other kinds besides whole sold at WDW, but we only found whole milk. I remember thinking it was odd.

Just remember, if you do get a skim or 2% milk, it won't hurt your little one. Long term removal of the fat could be not as good (the dietary fats are needed for normal growth and brain development), but during the length of a vacation, it would be fine. (I was worried about it at first too, but then realized that a week wouldn't make a difference - and my DS's dr. confirmed that)
