I just tried to log on and for about 5-10 minutes I got another website.... something a lighting bolt.... and not the DISBoards. WDWINFO worked... the the booards would kick me over to this other site, yet the URL address still read disboards....

Supose I should run spyware and anti virus eh?

got the same problem too, but I ran my Ad-aware and Spybot and it seemed to take care of it.

I don't know if it was that I got a spyware or if something was trying to hack into the boards.

I havent been able to get into the boards for the past few days, kept getting the server busy messages, then tonight i see this "server;' page./. was scared you guys all moved with out me..lol..

I got it too. I ran my anti-virus program and everything appeared to be OK. That was a little scary. I was wondering if someone was trying to hack into the site.

Yup, Phamton, that's the page I got too. First it gave me a page not found then when I went to refresh that's what I got.

Looks like someone was trying to hack into the site.

I got the same thing and it scared the poop out of me. I thought I got spyware on my one week old kick-butt Dell. My old computer is so infected with spyware and adware and I have tried everything and every program and it doesn't help at all. I have some darn "shopping assistant" thing on there that hijacks my home page and I thought that is what happened here too!!! I'm thinking it was actually hackers. But this site sure seems to get hacked quite a bit. It's kind of starting to make me leary.

Yup, I got a page not found along with may have been relocated. The address in my browser looked very strange. Finally just typed in disboards.com to get here.

That was only briefly, but are we still getting messages that the server will be down for maintenance? I haven't seen that in ages. When we get strange messages, it reminds me of my former job at the hospital. No announcements that the system will be shut down in 5 minutes, or 2 minutes. Just shut down all computers. NOT GOOD in that case!
