I've had the Weather Channel on most of the day (muted) and for this area they have been predicting "snow showers" this week - mixed with rain..

Just glanced up at the screen and they changed it to 1 to 3 inches of snow tomorrow night!!! Noooooooooo!!

It's a good thing I went to town to the pharmacy today.. This is ridiculous! Waaaay too early for this nonsense..:headache:

I at least hope they got the "amount" right and it doesn't turn into an "oops" and I wake up to a foot of snow on Wednesday...

Who else has snow coming their way - and what are they predicting for amounts?

ETA: Oh my! Now they just posted a Winter Storm Warning tomorrow night through Wednesay morning!!!!!!!!!! 90% chance...........

Yikes! I hope you're in the North.

It was sleeting here today!

Upstate NY - Adirondack Mountains..

Oh shoot! Now they're saying high winds too.. If I lose my power, I'm dead in the water (or should I say snow?).. :(

My son-in-law said I would be "safe" staying here another week (was supposed to leave last weekend).. If he was wrong, he is never, ever going to hear the end of it!!!! :rotfl:

I've seen the same reports that you have, but you also might want to know that channel 6 is saying that if the system stalls we could have as much as 10 inches in some areas. Of course it's supposed to be a high of 55 on Friday, so everything should melt quickly.

NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The "highs" I'm seeing for up here (specifically where I am located) for Friday are high 40's at most..:headache:

I better go out tomorrow morning and bring the snow shovel inside.. At least I went to town and got my medicine today and I have my winter coat, scarf, hat, gloves, and boots here..

If we get buried - and I lose my power - my son-in-law is just going to have to come up with his snow plow and get me.. Grrrrrrr....:headache:

You'll probably hate me but I"M JEALOUS!!!! Send it to NJ!!!! :rotfl:

I'm soooo waiting for the first snow! I'm in NE PA & we're just getting wet snow mixed with rain & wind tomorrow. Yuck. A high of 43 - enough to make you totally miserable! The dealer called today from my oil change to say I need new tires - $817!!! OUCH! I said thanks but it will wait til inspection in spring & he joked about the snow tomorrow. Maybe he knows something I don't....better go put on the local weather channel...

We are supposed to get 15 cm, which is 6 inches. My daughter is amused by the idea of having to go and shovel out the Halloween decorations! I am not as amused...

Living with you this winter might be more than just a little painful for him if he does end up being wrong.....

Unless Patrick calls into work which is more than likely right now!! :scared: Oh good god I checked again there are snow flakes in the forecast for tomorrow night. :sad2:

No...not NJ! Not until after Thanksgiving weekend. We have an OUTDOOR soccer tournament in NJ that weekend. :scared1:

I just got the chills reading about your weather!!! BRRRR!!!!

Funny thing is, we are heading to the volcano (VNP) on the Big Island for Thanksgiving because we want some cold weather! Moana Kea had snow over the weekend!

I have to admit, the first snow of the season is beautiful. After that (and in Maine I mean the next 6 months at least LOL) not so much LOL!

Actually, it's worse than I thought! I just checked the weather network and we are supposed to get 10cm tomorrow afternoon, and ANOTHER 15-20cm tomorrow evening/night!! Yikes! That's a foot of snow!

I would break out the kids' snowboots if I was you!

I am in Pike County, PA - we are under a Winter Weather Advisory from 6am tomorrow - 2am Wednesday. 2 -4 inches, with a possibility of 3 - 6 in the highter elevations.
Isn't it still OCTOBER????

I'm so sorry you are all getting snow, or the possibility of, but I'm in North Carolina and it is currently snowing in the county just north of me. What the heck! Last time I checked I live in the south. I'm moving to the Caribbean!
