Driving by a gas station that is generally pretty low today, I saw their sign said, "$1.99" Wow. How scary is it that I am thrilled by almost $2 per gallon.

Anyone else seeing such low prices. I didn't stop as I still had about half a tank but now I am thinking I probably should have. The city I live in is always about 10c higher than everywhere else around here.

I'm envious. Everyplace around here is 2.27 - 2.30 gallon still.

I think we're still around $2.19 or so.

Ours is still going up...getting close to $3 again. But I'm trying to not be to upset by that becuase in just over a week I'll be paying closer to $6 a gallon in Denmark!

DH saw it for 2.09 tonight....yesterday it was 2.29....Hopefully it will keep going down down down!!!

This is in MN? Where might this might be?

herc.

I paid 1.96 on Sat in Topeka, KS. There were only 2 or 3 stations that low, the rest were still anywhere from 2.10-2.19.

Cheapest I can find here in central NH is $2.25. I wouldn't mind seeing $1.99 again though.

This morning I saw it at $2.15. It would be nice to see it go down to $1.xx.

Whoa, where did you see that??????????? I know Fridley and sometimes Anoka seem to be cheaper.

Here are the 4 prices I have seen in my area:

$2.39
$2.41
$2.45
$2.53

The lowest is a gas station that I use as a basis on whether or not prices are going to increase or decrease. They are the first station to do so before everone else around the area follows suit.

Wow, I hope the $1.99 gas shows up in CT! I paid $2.43 a gal yesterday...

It's $2.12 at the cheaper station near us but 5 miles south it is 5-10 cents less. :confused3 Same county/state.

:sad2: It is so sad that we get excited now at the idea of gas for $2. I miss the old days when gas was less than a dollar.

Crude Oil is at its lowest price since June of 2005.
Gas here is 2.06, but is dropping at a pretty good pace.
