Checked the homepage today and found this:

Ride-A-Thon is on! Today only, get a free virtual Snow Carpet every time you ride 1pm-6pm Pacific, and maybe even a REAL iPod nano!

Last time I heard, it was a ride piece. Still WOO HOO! SNOW!!!

Yes, unfortunetely that was the prize for today. Tomorrow will be ice cubes.

And friday was straight pieces. It was posted i think in the newsletter what the prizes would be.

It is ice today. Yesterday was snow carpet and Friday was Everest straight track. And the rooms say Ride-A-Thon Red, Ride-A-Thon Blue, Ride-A-Thon Gold, Ride-A-Thon Yellow, Ride-A-Thon Green.....There was about a dozen yesterday (more than one of each color) and your prize automatically goes into your inventory when you get to the third room of the ride.

I think they should have gave out one different thing each time you ride. Who really wants snow carpets to put on snow?

Someone said that they will sell the straight pieces after the event.
