I read that too. I think that's the way it should be and the cm you got at the booth just didn't know that.
If the OP had wanted to just get a PAP, they would have received a Signature Plus.
We have premier too.To purchase Premier, they have to issue Premium (or Signature Plus now) first so that Disneyland has a record of you having the pass - which they then destroy the physical pass. Then you pay the difference in cost to get to Premier to get the gold card. It's very complicated... and something we've now done four years in a row.
Oh man, that's my Safeway but I already bought our 5 day park hopper tickets a few days ago, worried that they may increase the price on regular tickets before our upcoming trip! I thought for sure they would have been pulled from the shelf!Well there were close to 10 PAP gift cads at my Safeway today....told dh if I had the cash right now I'd have bought them since ours expire in a month. Oh well! If anyone is in Placer County it was at the Safeway on Douglas![]()
Long time lurker, first time poster. Thought I would share my experience. Bought 2 premium AP vouchers at South Coast Plaza last Monday. Went to Disneyland this afternoon (Sunday), stood in the ticket booth line for over 45 min in 98 degree weather, but happy to report ticket booth CM automatically upgraded the premium vouchers to the Signature Plus AP without any problem at all. I didn't even have to ask them to do it, it seems like they knew the drill already.
Well Saturday Safeway still had the old AP vouchers. So i FINALLY found a family able to buy our 5 day park hopper tickets and went back today to buy them and they were instrucred to pull them from the shelves yesterday. Bummer! They were still there in Sunday...we don't need new ones until Dec, and since we're going to DLR this week I didn't need an extra expense like that.
According to a Premium APer in the PhotoPass SuperThread, they DID get the PP+ benefits on a recent visit, though they did have to download the pictures before their AP expired. There were no borders or stickers available to add though.Still waiting to hear if Premium passes will get the PP+ added on. I mean, we pretty much have the Signature Plus soooo they might as well give it to us for the rest of our pass time until we have to renew and change it
Sorry, never had APs before, so couldn't tell you. The type of pass is not written anywhere on the card.Is the Signature Plus AP look the same as the old passes?

The renewal price for us (PAP to Signature Plus) was $980 (so the discount is a bit more than before, $69 vs. $60).
