Per this weeks podcast discussing the uber Star Wars fans, is there any living person that you would wait all night to meet? (No judgment!)

I would wait all night to meet JK Rowling and have her sign my HP books. I can't think of anyone else though.

Hmmm... I'm not sure. I'm pretty shy when it comes to famous people. A few years ago at the Tonys, I rode up in the elevator for like 60 floors with Phylicia Rashad, who is one of my favorite actresses, and I didn't even talk to her. (I am hoping to do better this year with Patti LuPone). Also, once I had dinner at the table next to Stephen Sondheim, and again, did not speak one word. I went to a meeting that Larry Kramer was at, and couldn't even approach him.

If he was still alive, I'd wait in line all night to meet Paul Monette. And then I probably wouldn't say anything.

I can't think of anyone living I would wait all night to see. If Walt Disney were alive I would wait for him.

I can't think of anyone...other than to say if Walt were alive, I would definately wait all night to meet him.

I haven't heard the show but back in 2005, at the Star Wars convention, a group of friends and I waited in a massive line all night, in the rain, hale, and below freezing wind chills to go into the George Lucas presentation. Didn't get to meet him per se but we were the row right behind all the celebrities which was awesome!

Living: I would wait to meet Bruce Springsteen.
If Princess Diana were still living I would wait to meet her.

The Powerball guy who holds the check for my winnings.

Other than him, there is nobody alive I'd wait to see.

This was years ago, but we went to a Tony Orlando and Dawn concert. Pretty close to the stage. You know how they come down and shake hands and stuff sometimes? Well, he did that and people were pushing and shoving and he just about fell on me. When he got really close, he was all sweaty and gross. I moved away. So I understand not saying something to someone famous. I guess the only one I would stand in line for would be Walt Disney.

Personally when it comes to Star Wars personalities, I'd rather pay the $25 to $50 at a Fan Expo/comicon to meet the people rather than waste an evening. Also, that line is usually only for the biggest star of the week.

As for who I WOULD wait overnight for? Probably no one.

I also would have loved to have met Walt Disney. What a genius! Can't think of anyone else I would wait all night to see.

Harrison Ford.
:thumbsup2 I don't know if I'd wait for him, but my wife might.

I might wait in line overnight to meet Julie Andrews. Although, I'd like to be more "presentable" to her when I actually met her.

I can think of a bunch of people I'd wait for several hours to see, but ALL NIGHT? No one.

No, One. I would rather spend my time doing other things than wait in line hours to meet someone for the brief few seconds you talk to them. And in most cases get one of a few generic reply's that they said to the other hundreds of people who waited all night.

Actually, when it comes to the people we met at Star wars weekends, they were extremely nice and not "going through the motions". Last year we met Ashley Eckstein and Tom Kane, and both seemed as excited to meet us as we did them, and were appreciative of us being fans. That said, we didn't wait in line more than 10 minutes.

I would love to meet Steven Tyler! But all night I don't think I could now that I have two kids I can't even stay up till 10! :rotfl:

A few hours (2-3) maybe, but all night!!! No one.

Walt Disney is the only person I can think of. I always wanted to see Frank Sinatra in concert, I would stand in line for tickets to his concert, not sure about an autograph. ;)

My DH is a HUGE Star Wars fan and we were there last weekend and he wouldn't even stand in line. :thumbsup2 I was relieved but I told him up front there was NO WAY I was doing it with him. :goodvibes
