Okay, NEW YEARS EVE Roll Call!!! :cool1:

Who is going to be there and what are your plans.....???? :goodvibes

We are planning on Ohana's, watch fireworks while we are eating...
then head to the beach for EWP. Then we plan on just shopping and see if we can last till we watch the 12:00 fireworks on the beach!!!

What is everyone else doing????

We're going to walk over to Epcot's International Gateway from BWV somewhere between 7:00 and 8:00 AM. We'll head into Future World, ride a few rides and grab a few Fastpasses. We have an AR for lunch with the Princesses in Norway at noonish and then we'll go back to BWV for a swim/nap/rest. We'll return to the fray that is Epcot on NYE around 6:00 and we have an AR at Rose and Crown at 8:00. We'll stay for the Midnight fireworks and then walk "home".

We have dinner plans at Citrico's and then not sure from there.

We're doing MGM, 'cause I heard it's least crowded. Fantasmic Dinner Package at Mama Melrose. We plan to see Fantasmic, Osbourne Lights, and then whatever we can get into without waiting in line an hour until the fireworks.

We will have an early dinner at LeCellier, walk around a bit and then head home. We can watch Wishes from our house, so we will do that. The parks are just to crowded as it gets later on NYE.

We will be at MGM for the day....and evening.
Taking in the Osborne lights, Fantasmic and Midnight Fireworks.
Have ADR for 50s Prime Time Cafe for 6pm.

Cant Wait!

We're catching Fantasmic and dinner at Mama Melrose's on the Fantasmic Package. Then we will see about some fireworks and back to SSR.

Well...let's see. We might go to Sea World. Or we might play WinterSummerland golf with the neices and nephew. Definately going to take in some of the resort decorations and probably have some Ghirardelli ice cream since our coupon expires on the 1st. We're having dinner at the AKL with the SIL and family. Of course, we will be eating there with you come the 9th. :wave2: We are not going to try and see the late fireworks since Jack needs a good night's rest before starting our first day at the WDW parks bright and early the next morning.

We usually go to Disney week after Thanksgiving but this year we decided to go on our trip based around NYE just to make that memory. We realize it is crowded to the max and mentally are prepared for that. Originally we planned around the party at the CR - California Grill. They had a party that seemed over the top and we wanted to be a part of that - but of course this year they discontinued that tradition. So we decided to still go and eat there at the second seating and watch the magical NYE fireworks from the roof. Can't wait and in fact have waited way too long already... :goodvibes

We plan on going to AK in the morning/early afternoon - maybe wait for the parade before we head to 6pm Cirque performance. Don't know from there - maybe Wishes from Ft. W beach or head to Cape May buffet for late dinner and try to see late Illuminations. (Is this possible - could we get into Epcot about 10pm? Anybody ever tried?)

We'll be in MGM too probably. We have a 7pm ADR at Hollywood Brown Derby. We might stay in MGM or might ho back to the BCV to grab a bottle of champagne and then sit on the beach in front of the Beach Club to watch the fireworks from the Boardwalk, MGM and Epcot.

Yes, you should be able to ge into Epcot at 10pm. It will be a dark, somewhat drunk zoo, but you'll get in ;). If you do not have an AR at Cape May, I would make it today. I just realized that the early IllumiNations was at 7:30 and not 9:00 on 12/31. I knew it would be earlier than then normal 9:30, but I didn't expect it to be that early. I made reservations at Rose and Crown for 8:00. I tried to move them up and I was told that R&C was no longer taking reservations for 12/31!

We will be there. will probably spend the day at AK and hop over to epcot for our ADR at Alfredo's and then watch illuminations after that we will probably watch Wishes from the beach at Fort Wilderness.

Four days until we leave for WDW

Check in at POP mid afternoon.
Early dinner at POP food court.
Ride monorail around for awhile and tour the monorail resorts.
Watch Wishes (8:30) and EWP (9:00) from the Poly beach.
Back to POP for early sleep so we will be at Epcot for opening Jan 1.

(I made ADR for Cape May last night for 9:10pm.) Here's hoping you'll get an early seating and see Illuminations from R&C anyway!! :flower:

I'll be there with my mom and we have PS at Garden Grill for 10pm. So, we'll be at Epcot for NYE.

We are planning to spend the afternoon touring the various resorts, dinner at Trails End and then campfire and movie at FW - decided to skip parks with the crowds as we were concerned about how our 7 yr old would handle it. After the movie maybe a trip over to boardwalk for ice cream and firework viewing.

:wave2: We'll be at EPCOt that day, ADRs for Chefs de France, then just hanging out in the World Showcase, margarita or champagne in hand.

If you see a crazy-happy brunette in a gold dress (maybe covered by a jacket!) with her fiance, and wonderful parents, having far too much fun, wave!!

Probably hang out at VWL during the day, or maybe even waterpark if warm during the day. Crash in room and dinner at Concourse Steakhouse at 7:30. then more visiting monorail resorts, then hopefully watching fireworks at midnight from Poly or VWL or FW beaches!
