Who will be the youngest/oldest person celebrating the holidays with you?

We do 2 family gatherings. Christmas Eve is my in-laws and Christmas Day is my family. Christmas EVE the oldest will be my BIL at 70 unless SIL shows up and then it will be 71. The youngest 2 are Great-great niece who is just shy of 1 and DGD who just turned 1. It is the only day of the year my DH really sees his brother.
Christmas Day will be my Dad at 73 and DGD at 1. My inlaws are the same age as my parents, DH was a surprise baby.

Let's see.....oldest will be mom's "boyfriend" at 95! Youngest will be my brand spanking-new great nephew at a whopping 1 month. I guess we pretty much have the spectrum covered!

Oh I'm so sorry to hear this. I have seen you mention your dad many times over the years and I know you lived with him and took great care of him. How lucky he was! My thoughts are with you as you go through this first Christmas without him.

So sorry for your loss- mine passed last year at the end of October- and Christmas was very hard for us and my mom.

Yesterday the oldest was 74, youngest just turned 3.

On Christmas itself, oldest 70 and youngest 6.

It is fun having the little kids but I sure as heck forgot how busy 3 year olds are .

Youngest family member is my nephew, but he lives in another province so we won't get to see him - he was just born on Thursday!

I am so very sorry to hear Arminnie . No doubt, losing loved ones around holidays makes it even more sad, if that's possible. I know how fondly you spoke of your dear Dad on some of your threads. You were a wonderful loving daughter caring for him the way your did till the end dearheart . May his wonderful memories warm your heart in all your days as he smiles upon you from above.

Well...since it's just DH and me...One of us is older than the other by about 45 days. The cat is technically youngest, and will turn 8 this spring.

Out of 3 different gatherings that we are attending (including one this evening) and a total of around 25 people this year, the youngest will be my son at 18 months. The oldest will be my father in law at 76.

We are skipping one gathering but, if we had attended that one, the youngest would be about 6 months and the eldest would have been 87.
