Who will be in WDW on Xmas Day

I'm just curious (OK nosey) and I wondered who else was planning on being in WDW for Xmas Day - what are you planning on doing that day - the parks, if so which one and why or are just taking it easy away from the crowds?

We're over there at Chrimbo but don't know if we'll be doing a park on Christmas Day. If any I think Epcot might be favourite at the moment, the thoughts of the crowds at Magic Kingdom really scares me

Hi Sam. We will be at Epcot for the day (or as much of it as we can survive, crowds willing!) We expect it to be busy, but reckon that Epcot will absorb more people with more grace than any of the other parks. We intend to chill out, wander the world showcase and keep phoning our family and friends in the UK! (To be honest, I'd rather be at home than try to tackle MK on Christmas Day!)... so what are you planning to do? (should we try for a dis meet?!) Mike & co.

Yep spending the whole Christmas with the out-laws , so will try to escape to the parks as they "don't like they don't like" them .....then go and buy villas out there . Mind you they've never toured the parks with us so we'll sort their "dislike" out!!

From all your views I think I must be nuts, we will be at Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day for my DD's 4th Birthday, we have PS's for CRT for breakfast, CP for lunch and Cinderella Galla Feast for Dinner.

Perhaps you may have worked out my DD is mad on Disney Princesses.

Hope everyone has a great time, we are already starting to get excited as its our first disney christmas and also our 1st trip using disney vacation club.

Your day sounds delightful yes it will be busy but you have your PS all sorted so that's great and lucky you.

It'll be packed but to be honest I think this gives a good day to smell the coffee so to speak. If I was doing this I'd fast pass as much as I can and spend time watching the shows and the entertainment and the parades.

Yup I really do like the sound of your day indeed your DD is not only a mad Princess but a Lucky One

I'll be there with my mum, just the 2 of us . We're staying at CBR and I'm not sure what we'll be doing on Dec 25th. Definitely NOT MK!

I have all my PS requests with my Dreams agent but so far she hasn't made them yet. Ideally we want to have breakfast at Chef Mickey's and dinner at Vic & Al. Fingers crossed we get both.

I used Small World Travel to book a part of my holiday but they have still booked all my PS requests for the entire stay

They just have one more to do which is the Rose and Crown for Boxing Day

No parks for me though - I plan to spend my day bumming around the Epcot area resorts periodically eating and drinking my way through the day. Pretty much what I'd do at home I suppose, just without the TV & sofa

Me, Mum and Dad will be at WDW for Xmas! No plans to themepark xmas day should be Bfast at Cape May Cafe and Dinner at Yachtsmas Steakhouse.

Not fully sure of all plans yet but can't wait!!

We're doing Cape May for breakkie Boxing Day morning - Actually we'll probably do it more than once as it's our favourite without a doubt

Have to say if it was up to me I'd be at Cape May a few more times! I don't think Mum would handle xmas day crowds so we just won't attempt it I think there should be plenty to keep us busy round the boardwalk etc....

Boxing Day we're off to US I've booked the VIP tour as a surprise for Mum and Dad. Should be a good way to see the best bits without the lines and as this may be a one time only thing for my Mum what better than a bit of the VIP treatment!

Also for Mum I've booked a facial at GF Spa and for Dad we'll be doing the backstage Safari tour at AK. Dad loves all things Animally so he should really enjoy this!

UPDATE - We got PS at Victoria & Alberts for Dec 25th, 5.45pm!!! I was rather excited to see it on my DU itinerary.
Boxing Day - breakfast at Boma, dinner at 1900 Park Fare.

We're spending xmas day at MGM, as you know we'd thought for about 10 minutes to spend the day at MK but the thought of all those people and Nah!!!!!! Hopefully it'll be a bit more manageable there

Its just me and my other half Nic. We were going for V&A for christmas night but it will be too much for me after DC. I fell asleep at Ohanas last year.

Probably be a takeaway, presents and some champers for us at the hotel for the evening.

We are going to be very brave and head on over to MK for Xmas Day....hoping that while everyone is thinking that it will be too busy and so going elsewhere the whole park will be ours!!! who said I am a dreamer...lol

Hi everyone,

We're planning on doing MK on xmas day too - mad or what - but we are well prepared for the crowds and have our breakfast and dinner PS's in place. (Although will have to get up at 7.00am on xmas day to make our 8.30 PS !!!!)

We're just gonna chill out for the day, stroll around and do as many FP's as we can - but hey - it's christmas in disney where better to be.
