11/23 to 12/2 Staying one night (23rd) at Best Western Lake Buena Vista (on Hotel Blvd) and then from 11/24 to 12/2 at BWV. My DH ans DS also. We are signed up for Events only for the DIS Con, but would love to meet up with you.

Someone is also trying to schedule a dinner at Whispering Canyon (WL) on Tuesday evening (27th) for those who will be there at that time.

From what I've been told, the pin trading/info sessions won't require a ticket.

I'm not sure yet about other non-ticket events, but I'll keep you posted.

I was thinking of Wednesday, November 28th, at the Boardwalk after the Opening Reception at Atlantic Dance ends at 8 PM. That way, anyone attending the convention could just walk over to ??? at the Boardwalk for a DVC meet.

OR

Friday, November 30th, at the Boardwalk, at around lunchtime or early afternoon?? That day is EE at EPCOT, so you could do EE and then stroll over to BW.

Any other suggestions/ideas? Not sure how many DVCers are into having a meet. So, all input is welcome.

I will be around that week, at BWV. I might be abandoning my family for a day or 2 and popping out for a wedding right in the middle of it all, so I can't make a committment to be anywhere at a certain day or time, but it would be nice to see folks.

If you are still clueless about hosting a meet, let me assure you that all you really need to do is tell people when and where, and then show up. For a general meet of people who don't really know each other, you might expect a 40% show rate of people who say they will be there... people tend to get busy at WDW, for some reason! And some people just get shy, or their spouse objects, and they don't show. If people do know each other and are motivated to show up, you can expect more of a show rate. I have planned and participated in a few now... some are very simple, some are quite elaborate. Have fun with it!

I'd be able to attend on the 28th, but will be busy with family on 29th thru the 1st. Back again on the 2nd thru 5th. I'd be happy to attend a meet during this time--anywhere, anytime!

Sounds good to me MaryAnn. The p.m. meet on the 28th works out better for us but that's not to say I wouldn't rearrange a few things to try to make it on the 30th. I haven't checked out the DIS-Con board for a few months so I'll head on over there and take a look.

There are a bunch of us staying at the Boardwalk that week - for the first time ever I might actually see some lime green ribbons!

We will be at WLV on the 28-5 would love to come to a meet. The 28 dosn't sound bad now but have to see ,we have family joining us.

We will be there 11/27-12/3 but we are staying at ASMu. We are saving our points for a big trip in June. we are coming down without "the Kid". Yippee!!!! We would not mind coming to a meet. I anxiously will watch for info.
