We went to MNSSHP the weekend prior to Halloween last year. We loved everything about it with the exception of the crowds. I found the crowds to be crazy and not a typical evening at MK.

We would like to go again but maybe this year try and go one one of the first nights available.

I would love to hear from anyone who went last year towards the beginning.

Thank you!

we went the very first night last year--it was sold out (there was a sign at the ticket window), but I don't know how many people that is. We found it crowded, but manageable (sp?)....it definitely was less crowded after 10PM, and we had no waits after the 2nd parade. In fact, we were just getting our second wind and could have gone on for another hour :) Everyone's perceptions of crowds are different, though...what we thought to be ok, someone else might think was a ghost town, and another like MK on Christmas Day, LOL

hi we also went on the first night last year and totally agree with flgirl, it went really quiet after ten oclock, we got to go on rides two or three times with no wait which was great, by being able to ride so many times that night it didnt matter when we went back again to the mk later in the week and it was busy with lots of long lines, we just went on the queiter rides and enjoyed the parades and fireworks instead, we are hopeing for the same when we go to the xmas parade susie

We were there Oct 17/02. I remember reading advice to stay away from MNSSHP at Halloween and the weekend dates.

We did not go to any parks that day. We entered MK about 5:30 - only needed our MNSSHP ticket. Wandered around Main Street for a while - got some pictures in the sunlight before we were tired!

Walked down to Fantasyland, went on a few rides (once 6 pm hit, the rides continued to operate but only those with the MNSSHP wristband could get on - a nice easy way to convince people to leave, I thought!). Grabbed a bite.

Between 7 and 10, I thought it was pretty crowded - lots of people out and about, anyway. Most rides were walk-ons (or nearly that), though, as I recall.

The line for the pictures was probably the worst - 15 minutes.

Line at Buzz was about 10 minutes at its longest, 5 minutes at its shortest (did that one a *few* times - DS was 7!).

We went last year, and I am thinking it was the first day (Oct. 11th) and it was HOT HOT HOT!! The poor children in the costumes, my son was Buzz and we had to take off his costume before the 1st parade started. We thought it was super crowded early on, but then there was the discussion about how many people were not told to leave the parks for not having the wristband.

It was a ton of fun, we had a blast and definatley suggest doing dinner at LTT before the party starts:D

We have gone the past two years. It is a lot of fun, but it was extremely hot the first night. My DS took off his costume half way through the event. I can't imagine the kids and adults in the furry costumes. You never know what the weather will be.

We went on the 17th and it was great! The lines were short and the atmosphere was wonderful. Most attractions had no lines at all.
