Who went during Easter?

[We will go back at Easter time. We thought it was great! A little uncomfortable walking at times, but we never waited in line longer than 15-20 min., and did every single thing we wanted...some more than once.[/B][/QUOTE]

We must have been doing the same type of touring plan. The longest we waited was for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Peter Pan's Flight - about 30 minutes each. Don't ask me why we even waited - I guess because my DD's were intent on riding - even though they've been on each NUMEROUS times!!!

Anyway, I agree that it is manageable at Easter if you have a flexible plan. Standing in long lines in the middle, however, IMO is a bad plan!!! :p

We used a plan made for us by Len Testa. This was the best thing we could have done, and truly saved our trip!

We have been to WDW 29 times, but never on a holiday. When I heard all the stories about how crowded it usually is, I got nervous.Even with all of our experience I didn't feel prepared to plan things out myself.

The plans he made for us worked to a tee! Even better in fact, because we found ourselves finished early, with time to spare!

There were several things on the plan I wouldn't have thought of. For instance the plan for Saturday night was to watch Spectro from Frontierland, and then immediatly hit Big Thunder and Splash. I would have never done this on my own, because I have always assumed that that's where everyone else who just watched the parade from Frontierland would be headed right!..WRONG!!

We walked on both with 10min. waits!
It even worked out perfect because we got stuck on Spash MT. FOR A LONG TIME, but were at the top coming around to the first drop, and got to watch Wishes from the top of Splash MT.
Too cool!

I have to make a comment here. A lot of folks just plain don't mind really big crowds. It's just their nature. DW and I cannot deal with the shoveing, toe stepping, lines, baby stroller ankle thumping, etc.,especially when you want a quick bite. What I'm saying is that people who like crowds are going to tell you it's no big deal, we did it!, we used FP, etc., etc. However, if you are not a "high volume" park person, you are not going to enjoy it. You really have to judge for yourself if you want to tour that way. If you don't mind bumper to bumper everywhere you go, and take it from non crowd people, we don't, then by all means, go.

If, however, you would like to relax a little, choose a different time if possible.
PS: You also have to consider what some folks view as "not much of a wait" may be annoyingly long for you.

and it was crazy! The parks were so busy. The worst was AK. I assume because of the park layout. It was literally shoulder to shoulder there. I'd never go that time of year again.

Well, we were there from 4/9-4/16, and we loved every minute of it!! Thanks go out to Tour Guide Mike, we followed his Easter week advice, and IT WORKED!!!! We loved both of our hotels, AKL & POR. Cant wait to do it all again next year!!!:sunny:
