Who wears scrabble tile necklaces?

I'm shopping on etsy for my 17 year old niece's Christmas gift. Who wears scrabble tile necklaces? Teens? Little girls? Old ladies?

I currently don't live in the USA, so I've never seen anyone wear them I think they are very cool...but will she??? What do you think?

I don't think I've ever seen them on anyone. I am doing lots of observation in high schools and don't recall seeing any.

A lady was selling them at our holiday fair at work and I didn't like them at all. I don't know if it was just hers or not, but they just looked cheap. My teens would NEVER wear them.

I think it depends on how well the necklaces are done. I have seen some really cool looking ones that teens wear and I've seen some cheap ones that little girls wear.
