We got Ellen. I can't remember if she was our aunt or cousin, but we thought she was great!:goodvibes

Just wondering who you guys got. I would love to hear some funny PTC stories!

(*please refrain from negative comments about any specific servers. It's not nice, in case they might be on here)

We have had a couple of memorable experiences there.

Our 1st trip in '99 we ate un-suspected of the antics that take place there. My DMIL didnt eat her green beans but by the time the meal was over, she was well aware of the consequences. Uncle Dave was our waiter and a great one I must say. He told her she better eat those GBs or trouble was coming her way. Well she had already been reprimanded for elbows on the table, so she was heading down the wrong trail from the start. He came back to the table to find her GBs suddenly missing! He had seen this trick before and went hunting for them. She had hid them at another table with her DIL. Uncle Dave never found them but he knew she was a sneak about the whole thing.

Cousin Jaime has waited on us twice and she is a hoot. She put a Little Mermaid bib on me and made my then 70 yr old Dad get his elbows off the table so fast you woulda swore a jet just passed by!

But with all the fun, we think it is still one of the best on property restaurants, food wise.

We were just there last Monday and our server was Auntie Claire. She was fabulous! My 5 year old was whining when we came in and she put a quick stop to that! Nothing like a stranger telling your kid to behave to actually get them to do it!

I actually don't remember our server, but at the next table, the server was cousin Dale. DD8 absolutely loved him -- enough to ask for an autograph and take a picture with him. She want me to schedule with him in September!

I'm positive we had cousin Dale also...except our visit was in 2001!!! I was wondering if he was still there.

here's our favorite! Its Uncle Mark, he's SO funny!!

Oh my gosh we had him and he was AWESOME!!!! but wasn't it cousin mark??? he really kept my husband in line - although i had a upset stomach that day and was in the bathroom a few times and he was quick to ask me each time i came out if i was ok - def. one of our favorite meals on our last trip!!!

Back in 1997 I took my Ma and Pa to lunch there and we just had a waitress who was called "Mom". She did a great job of keeping in character and was pretty tough on people. She kept a stern countenance but I saw her start to break up once. She was great.

When we went in 2000, we had Uncle Warren - I will never forget that name! I don't think I've ever had so much fun at a restaurant!

He seemed to have picked me out as his target for the day and it was hilarious. Before our food came, I got up to go to the restroom but didn't know where they were. As I stood looking around, my helpful Uncle Warren came into the room so I asked where the restrooms were. He just happened to be carrying one of those green plastic caddies that they wash and carry silverware in - and it was full. He proceeded to DROP THE WHOLE THING and (after all the silverware stopped clanging on the floor) announced to what seemed like the whole restaurant, "Well, let me just drop everything and show you were the restroom is, Princess!" The whole place just erupted into laughter. My friends were absolutely dying laughing as Uncle Warren took me by the hand and walked me to the bathroom.

When I came back, another server, whose name ironically I didn't recall even though he had been flirting with me since we walked through the door, was picking up Uncle Warren's silverware. He must've mistaken the look on my face as embarrassment, even though I was probably just red from laughing so hard, because he paid for my meal!

We all still laugh about this story every time we talk about WDW. :rotfl:

We were a big group at two tables so we had two servers. The server at our table was our sister Tabitha. She was great. My parents, aunt and wife were at a different table with an aunt. Her name escapes me. But she had everyone terrified to put their elbows on the table :scared1: hahahahaha.... ( all in good fun, of course  )

I think her name was Aunty Betty. I did a dining review. It was our first and probably last time there. Aunt Betty was busy with all the other tables around the corner and seemed to forget about us. It was like she just magically disappeared. I ate a nice cold meal after she finally brought my drink refill. The next table did no better with their server. They asked us to borrow our ketchup since their server also seemed to disappear and never return. This was this past dec. Did it once. Probably not again.

cousin Lokeli (sp??) he was great! Dfil had to sing I'm a little teapot in front on out section because he was out of his seat wandering around the restaurant!

We had the same guy on our last trip. What a hoot! I absolutely love the whole 50's experience, but I promised my DH we'd try Sci Fi. I sure will miss my cousins and uncles!

Interesting you should say that. We do Prime Time every single trip. But we've never tried SciFi (well, I did with my DS19 last March, but no with my whole family). So this coming trip, we're doing both! There's no way we can skip trying to have lunch with Cousin/Uncle Mark!! The cheeseburgers and shakes were really really good at SciFi by the way.

Cousin Patty...
My DH & I went to WDW for my 30th Birthday and we had Cousin PATTY & SHE WAS THE BEST- she yelled at my DH a few times which was really funny but what made the dinner extra special was her sweetness. She had all the tables in our section sign a birthday card (including herself) for me and I thought that was awesome. Its was a great souvenier! :yay:

Cousin Joey

He did the airplane to make me finish my pot roast. Then he started picking on the ladies at the table next to us, and they got mad at me because they said it was my fault he picked on them! :rotfl2:

Cousin Mikey! He was the best server ever and if I knew that he'd be working, I'd sneak into 50's PTC this upcoming visit just to see him.

He played the part perfectly, was a wonderfully attentive server and was hilarious. I am not sure that Disney has anyone better to offer.

She's our favorite, too! We have her picture in our album from last year's trip because she teased DS so much, but was a great (great) waitress. When she noticed he didn't like his mac 'n' cheese, she went in and got him plain noodles so that he'd have enough to eat. Of course she teased him about it. She's the most memorable server we've ever had.

 auntie claire!!!

we've been lucky to get her as our server 3 of the past 4 times we've eaten there! she's a real hoot!!
