Who was up earliest for Christmas

9.15 for us

8 o'clock for us. It gets later every year. Lounge now looks like a bombs hit, turkey is smelling lovely and youngest son is playing with his Geomags, DD is shouting at her dog on the Nintendogs and eldest son has disappeared upstairs to play on his x-box. Ahhhh peace!...ooo DH has just handed me a glass of wine. Cheers everyone!

We were up at 8am & my fiance was up at 7am

Woken up at 8.09, and then the forced (by our 7yr DS) to exit ours beds and go downstairs, quickly lol

All presents opened by 8.35 and then piece and quiet, lovely. Lunch cooked and eaten by 1.45, tin of choc's opened by 2.30, turkeys butties by 5.00!!!

Christmas day, where did it go????

I was up earlier than DD at 8.30am. DH snoring got too much to bear (we're all suffering a bit from colds ) DD got up about 9.15am and opened her last parcel from 'santa' at 11.05am. She is very slow at opening as she likes to play with everyone she opens.Fave parcels were Lumpy and Lumpy's Mum (large version of Lumpy from Disney store) from Granny.

Me and my sister planned to get up at 5/6 o clock, but we ended up waking up at 7.30! To make matters worse, my grandma rang our doorbell and woke everyone up!

We started presents at 8.00, and finished by 9.30.

DD's visual alarm clock woke her when it opened his eyes at 7! (It's a bunny and the idea is that if it has it's eyes closed she shouldn't get up.)

They had lie ins until 9am this morning. Everyone's eaten breakfast so hopefully they are on the mend

I was up at 9 waiting for dd's to wake,finally woke not long after 9. Am i the only one with kid's that never get up early on christmas day. Even DH wishes they would wake at the crack of dawn on christmas day only mind.

I've got 3 kids.
The older two (now 21 and 18) were never up early and DD (7) seems to be following suit

i still get up early at christmas and im a 16yr old girl! i was up at 3.30 this year and my 10 yr old sister didnt get up until about 8!!!

I felt about 6 this year as I couldn't go to sleep till 2 because I was excited (DH said I was like the parents in the WDW ad ) and then the kids got me up about 6:15. Of course, I fell asleep at the beginning of Shrek and woke up somewhere in Toy Story. Hope you all had a good one,

Well, DD (6) lost one of her front teeth on Xmas Eve, so was waiting for a visit from both Santa & the the tooth fairy. She walked into our bedroom at 11.20 on Xmas Eve with her stocking in one hand & 2 Disney $ in the other, asking if it was time yet! Unfortunately that question was asked every hour thereafter & we finally relented at 6.30!
