A SINGLE DIGIT DANCE WOOHOO!

I can't believe we leave a week from tomorrow. Which means everything I do from this point on is in preparation for the road trip and our vacation. We bought a year ago, and this will be our first DVC trip. I cannot wait!

Any tips on what kinds of dry foods to pack to keep the cost of eating down? We are staying in a one bedroom, so we will have the full kitchen. I already know cereal, bread, peanut butter, popcorn. What do you like to stock your kitchen with?

The weather has been great (my parents live doen there and have been gloating ) and I'm sure you will have a magical time.

Florida's groceries are generally cheaper than the same stuff in AL (at least where I live) - so I generally wait until I get there to go to the store - the vegetables are generally the same - but in Fl they are bigger - now I am talking about the grocery stories in Kissimmee - not Lake buena vista....

We leave Friday too. The kids are excited tonite because "tomorrow it's just a week away!" We have a night at Riverside Saturday 11/22, then a week at OKW with the grandparents for Thanksgiving.

We always hit Winn Dixie and buy all the things you mentioned. I also buy a multi-pack of teeny cereal boxes; the kids love those. I buy cheapo soda to take to the pool (in a tiny soft cooler) and water bottles to take into the parks. I also buy some small candy bars for my bag. If the kids get fussy in a line, I bribe them. I buy bananas and apples too, although often I am the only one that eats these! We pop lots of microwave popcorn and hubby usually gets some imported beer. I get lemonade mix for the kids. I am also ashamed to admit we buy donuts.

Two weeks from right now... I will be in DTD (SHOPPING), waiting for our 5:00 reservations at Rainforest.
