We just saw on television that the show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire is going to be taping at WDW's MGM Studios January 9, 10, and 11 (the time we will be there). What do you think this will do to park attendance those days...

We'll be there too. Maybe I can see REG!!!!! I love that show. Would be great if I won $1,000,000!! (yay, rrrrriiiiiggggghhhttt!!)

I can't imagine that it would do a whole lot to the attendance. I'm sure that they're proabably only taping a week's worth of shows (1 or 2 taped shows a day). Plus, since it's a taping, the people that are in the taping will be in the soundstage for a long time. You shouldn't have anything to worry about. Just be aware that "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Play It!" will proabably be closed for the week that the show is being taped there.

By the way, in response to the second post, this is the version hosted by Meredith Vierra and syndicated on stations nation wide. Personally, I think Meredith does just as good a job as Reege.

WOW, learn something EVERY day!! I didn't even know such a thing existed!! You'd think I live in a cave or something!! Thanks for the info!:sunny:

I've been to the Studios during a taping for the Rosie O'Donnel show. Park attendence wasn't anything to write home about as the people concerned with the tapings usually have an area they have to wait in and for most of the day, they'll be occupied with that. I wouldn't worry too much.
