Texas Pooh said:Well, I was certainly PLANNING on trying ..
but we have just discovered my original Social Security card was apparently taken when the house was broken into several months ago (with everything else, we didn't notice it at first) when I went to collect my documents. I am self employed, so I have no W-2 or a paystub!
The S.S. Admin. today gave me a letter that says its a certification of my SS number, but the card has to be mailed ... ten days to two weeks.
The rules say:
Proof of Social Security Number
Will only accept social security card, a current pay stub or a current W2 statement.

I've never heard of the WIAW. What a cool idea! I just wanted to wish you all "Good Luck".ladysoleil said:I think it's worth a try if you're going to be there anyway, after all, the letter is supposed to be proof of your SS- I don't think it gets much more official than that, I'd hope.

BTW, and this may sound strange but....in the queue area, they play clips from past shows. Does anyone remember if they are still playing the "Sacagawea" clip?
Turns out I had better luck at playing the real deal. I once was 9th on the first fastest finger at WWTBAMPI. I never made the hot seat. I've been to Disney about 8 times in the last 4 years but have only gone to the attraction twice. I've got 3 wee little girls that would be bored to tears in there. Though I reallyreallyreally want to go in!wwtbamrob said:Jason,
Not so strange to be asking about a clip you are in, right? Yes, at least as of June they were still showing that clip. For some reason, they have yet to add a clip of my appearance, so you have a leg up on me. Congratulations on your run, by the way. I assume you have been to Play It! at least once. How well have you done?
By the way, if you care to see my appearance on WWTBAM, I believe it will repeat on GSN at 8 pm this coming Sunday.

. As to your clip with Regis - I have seen it (including when it originally aired), but it has been a long time since I've seen it in the attraction queue. And I have actually watched specifically for you on my last few trips if/when I wait in line, but I have not seen it
. I kind of thought they must have taken it out when they added all the clips with Meredith Veiera. But a lot of times I don't need to wait in the queue area, so maybe I've just missed it.
, and the 500K question once
. But I also have missed like the 16K or 32K question
. A few years ago I saw 2 different people win the cruise on the same day.
). I REALLY want to see one of my friends or family members make it into the hotseat. I've watched JamesD in the hotseat before, but he's the only friend I've ever gotten to watch play.Sir Hiss said:I am in FL at my in-laws and thought that I would like to give this WIAW a try. However, on the site it says that you must have proof of social security # via SS card, W2 or current pay stub. I do not have those, but it is on my Drivers Lic. - does anyone know if that is acceptable?
Thanks and good luck to everyone going tomorrow.
