Steve Parkis to lead Disney Online Studios

North Hollywood, CA (February 19, 2008) — Disney Online, part of the Walt Disney Internet Group, announced today the creation of a new team that will focus on building, operating and publishing an expansive line-up of games, virtual worlds and online social communities, Disney Online Studios. Steve Parkis, a Disney Online veteran, has been promoted to senior vice president and will lead the newly formed group, reporting to Paul Yanover, executive vice president and managing director of Disney Online.

He seems to be out of office, Please call his assistant Rebecca Metz at 818-623-3313 with any issues that need immediate attention. (VMK's Closing)

Can I suggest NOT emailing these people. For one, Bruce Gordon, formally an Imagineer, passed away in November of 2007. Brent Woodford is so far above this issue that I don't think he even knows what VMK is.

Secondly, these people have a lot to do everyday and spamming their inboxes is slightly annoying and unprofessional. (Imagine your own inbox.) I understand you're disappointed, but please direct it to the appropriate people...not some spam list that includes a dead person and the SVP of Planning and Control.

It's a respect issue, more than anything.
