I hope your problem is rare. I just returned from OKW, and my room was pretty much spotless, one thing I did notice on my next to last day was that the TV remote was missing. I rarely turn on the TV, so did not notice it earlier.
The best thing to do is to dial 0 from your unit and speak to a manager so that the issue can be resolved to your satisfaction without affecting the rest of your stay.
If its too late for that, then Chuck S has the best suggestion.

Calls from the room or any phone on property goes to a call center. They will either act like the party who you are calling or they might transfer the call if your are demanding enough. If you want to speak to a manager, go to the front desk in person.

I posted in DVC Resorts as well, but I went to the front desk and it wasn't resolved at all. I didn't want it to consume our vacation, so I figured I would just call when we got home.

Instead of dial 0, you need to hit the button for Housekeeping and tell them your problem. If it isn't resolved, go to the front desk and tell them. If still no resolution, contact Member Satisfaction while you are still there.
Not always, there job is to try and resolve issues and not transfer the call. If Disney just wanted the call to go through, the front desk number would go to the front desk.
It took a couple of calls for me to figure out what was going on. We called the front desk, verified with them that they were the front desk, got the name of who I was talking to, discussed the problem and ended the call. The problem wasn't taken care so I stopped by the front desk to find out why. That's when I was told that that the call center is like a resolution center, there job is to not transfer the call. I gave the manager the name of who I spoke to and he confirmed that that person doesn't work at the resort.
Since then depending on the problem I will either deal with the call center or tell them that I am working with a front desk CM and they told me to call them. Those calls go through without hesitation.
