Who thinks they will have a 24 hour event for Leap Day?

Hello! Currently have a book tripped for the end of February. Does anyone have any insight or thoughts on if they will do a 24 hour event at WDW for Leap Day?

I think only the first one was done on a leap year and since then it's been first day of summer at the end of may. We're actually planning our move down to the area to settle in for this. I have no clue but internet searching it looks like only a couple weeks warning.

I wonder if there might be a couple more of these sprinkled in next year though. Leap year sounds great and might line up with the late nights at animal kingdom. I'm not sure there is enough to do a 24 hours at animal kingdom but what a killer first night that would make.

I'm wondering the same thing. We are booked over leap day because the kids had the 26th and 29th off school. Our current schedule has us at Epcot that day and I don't forsee that changing even if an event is announced because mostly, we will want to avoid any crowds that it brings. I have no desire to stay up for 24 hours anyway, but if they do it, I imagine we will head over at some point to say we were there. DH and I have talked about since the grandparents are coming along and we will hopefully have connecting rooms, possibly heading off after the kids are in bed to ride for a few hours but midnight or 1 AM is my limit!
