hi everyone. Im a 86 year old retired nurse who wants to know if anyone has told you your too old to go on a certain ride? i know im not as young, but i still can manage to go on the matterhorn ride. :smooth:

Honey, I just heard of a former Ziegfield lady who is now 101 years young and is going to be performing a dance on Broadway! So you are one young whipper snapper!

From what I have noticed on the rides, they are very specific for medical reasons, not so much age (except the little ones who are too short to ride some rides). There are some rides too intense for the pregnant, the motion sickness proned, and those who have back issues (due to the jarring and bouncing of some rides).

If none of these bother you, then go, do, and have fun! :flower:

Me mad, a person knows what they like and they don't.You being 86yo I would mind my own buiness and not try to tell you anything.I would listen to you try to gain knowledge from your life experience. :goodvibes :flower: :wave2:

Good for you! If you feel fine, why should stop from enjoying these rides? Sometimes younger people are grumpy and don't realize it. They only attribute it to older people. :wave2:

I say good for you. Don't ever let anyone tell you that you are too old. You keep riding the rides & having fun. I only hope that I too will be able to still enjoy Disney at 86. :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

Good for you! I think like someone else said, their main concerns seem to be medical issues. If you're in good health, age shouldn't be a factor!!

Staying young at heart seems to be a good way to live. I hope I'm still going to Disney at 86.

I've had people look strangely at me when I tell them we're spending our anniversary at WDW. I guess they just don't know how to have fun!! LOL

Have a good time! :sunny:

You go girl! This just proves that everyone can enjoy Disney, no matter what the age. :earsgirl:

Hey...you are only as old as you feel....and when I am at disney....I feel five! I think that is the beauty of disney...it is not just for the young...but the young at heart!

Howdy Tiger.

I think you only as old as you feel.

In fact last time the wife were at Disney on the bus enroute to Epcot, there were two ladies who were sisters and when we were talking they told us they were young 88 & 92.

Much later in the day when they wife and I were whooped (we are 33 by the way) and heading back to the room for some rest, we saw the two same ladies full of energy and still running around chatting andheading for more.
