Who rescheduled a Sept. trip and for when?

DH and I were supposed to head down 9/18-9/28 but rescheduled for 1/18 - 1/30 - anyone else reschedule due to the hurricanes and when are you headed to WDW?

We were at WDW only 1 day (9-1); after the Gov. asked that people change/cancel plans and reschedule, we decided to leave; we could not get a flight out of Fl, drove to Ga. and flew back to MI.

Too make a long story short, we had planned on the 24th thru 31st of December, but due to Hurricane Frances we are arriving on December 19th (almost two weeks at WDW for the holidays!!!!! Thanks 'Frances', would have never stayed this long during the holidays!!!!!!

DNBois , we are in the same boat...but we don't have to wait much longer!! That has been terrible however not as bad as if H. Ivan had hit New Orleans!!! We moved our 9-16 --> 19 trip due to having to evacuate from home. Funny thing was...it was one of the FEW nice weather weekends in Orlando.

To make up for the huge disappointment AND to find room back in WL, we booked the Honeymoon Suite...a quintuple upgrade and will cause bankrupcy but...oh well. Life is short!

We rescheduled our sept 16-22 (IVAN) trip for Nov 15-22. We actually still got our Fl.resident discount for POLY, and were very relieved....we have never been in nov, always go in sept. so we are going in with no expectations, crowds or no crowds....we have had a pretty stressful clean up from IVAN and will be so glad to get away!!!!!!!!!

Finally we are getting to go to Disney.........our trip was originally scheduled for Sept. 12th, but hurricane Ivan threatened. We arrive Sat. Oct. 23rd. We did have to pay $500 more for the Polynesian because of the season change. I think worse than the money is the fact it will be so crowded. Bummer!!

We were scheduled for Sept 15 - 19. I changed it to Nov 19 - 23. Fortunately, our airline tickets only went up $36. Hopefully some of the decorations will be up.

We rescheduled our Sept. "hurricane trip" for end of October into November. We leave next week! :thewave:

We were going in October and rescheduled for Dec.20-27. Originally wanted to spend Christmas in Disney as its our first visit but heard the crowds were bad. When the hurricanes started we decided to go for it. Will see in 55 days if it was a good choice. Yeah......Christmas at WDW.....woooooohoooo!

Well, at least it looks like everyone is all set - DH and I are headed to WDW 1/18 - 1/28 with a split stay at CBR and POR for $79 a night!!! YAHOO!!
