Went to HorseShoe Revue that year and one of the cowboy comedians said "hey did you here Cinderella moved out of the castle....Barbie kicked her out and painted it pink" the crowd roared!

THAT IS TOO FUNNY. I really didn't like it but it makes for some great pictures. See my kids when they were so cute in the bottom of my Castle Cake Picture.

We were there for that!! I can't say I hated it, but I was disappointed not to see my favorite landmark as it should be!! Glad we got to see it just that once. My girls loved it at the time....

I wish I could have seen it in person. My FAV color is pink so I like it ... glad it wasn't permanent, but I would have liked to see it myself!!

I'm glad it wasn't permanent but it really wasn't THAT ugly. That was the first time my dh (we had been dating 4 months at the time) went with my and my cousin's family -- 4 kids ranging from 9-14. I figured if he made it through the trip (in the heat of July no less) he was around to stay. I believe it was 1997. I have a really neat picture of the 9 of us in front of the castle framed in my room.

Well I think it was unique. And it wasn't permanent unlike so many things they do now (like the BAH, and the Epcot sign).

Took me awhile to figure out what that meant and then . . . . .

Ok, now that I've caught my breath, I didn't see it in person. I kinda wish I could've though. It would be a cool memory to have!!

I loved it. It was one of the first trips DH and I took together to WDW. Before that I had gone every year many times a year but never with him. Brings back good memories.
