who really buys the pictures off Splash mountain?

I bought one the year I went there on Spring Break with 7 of my sorority sisters so we took up the whole boat. It was a great picture.

My mom and I did, just to see her reaction, she was hunched up against me, lol. I'll scan the picture one of these days and post it here.

We bought one on our trip in 2003. We didn't buy one last year, but my DH sure wishes we had! I was sitting up front with our younger son(8 yrs), our older son (11 yrs) and our nephew (12 yrs) were on the second row, my hubby had been sitting on the next row (alone) and there was a couple on the row behind him. Right as the ride started moving, a young woman (possibly late teens, or 20ish) hopped in out of nowhere with DH! It was really kind of odd! I turned around and saw her sitting with him, turned back around and then turned around to look again. I said I didn't want the photo because of the chick that was sitting beside him. He said it would have been nice to have had it to remember it by!

We've bought a number of pictures from various rides over the years. FYI, according to the official WDW podcast they are working on making the ride photos available on PhotoPass so you can get them on your CD with the rest of the park photos. Hopefully they'll have it in place before our next trip!

i am a cheat and a cheapskate if any of the photos of any of the rides that have this facility i photo the photo, works well with a digital camera :bitelip:

I SO hope they add these to PhotoPass -- that would be wonderful! I'm not always able to time it right so that the photo can be sent back to the hotel.

I am a total ride weenie, but on our trip last Dec., 7 y-o DS said his "one wish for the trip is for Mama to ride Splash Mountain!" Well, I put aside my fears and we rode, and got on early so we were the only family in the log (me, DH, and DS). I had to buy the photo -- 1., to commemorate that I actually rode and 2., because it's hysterical -- DS and DH are smiling, laughing, looking happy. I have my eyes closed and look like I'm praying.... I know these are expensive, but I've never regretted buying them (we always get our best one from Buzz). Now I think I'll always get one of us on Splash, too. If you're going to spend the money to go to WDW, you may as well be willing to spend the extra to bring home those memories!

We go to Disneyland a lot and always buy at least one ride picture maybe two in each park. We try to pick the one everyone looks least dorky in. I have to tell you everyone one those pictures still sit on our shelf today. They are our favorite photos. They show a whole family having a blast and always bring back good memories.

We have- one trip we all posed for the camera-it helps to know exactly where all the cameras on the rides are! The photo was perfectly silly, and the castmember at the register actually said to us that he had no words to describe our picture :)

We buy ours as we have a special needs son and he is always grinning ear to ear in the ride photos!! The first time DH took DS on one of the BIG RIDES I was really unsure if it was a good thing to do. DS can't talk or communicate so it was just DH telling me everything would be fine. DS took him on Splash Mountain and when the photo came up he was grinning ear to ear! He has been on every ride in WDW and we have great photos of him on all that take the photo!!!!!

We have never bought one of the ride photos - yet. I wanted to the 1st year we took our oldest DS. Splash Mt. was great, but in the picture... you couldn't see him, he was ducked down so far, you could hardly tell he was w/ DH and I. I thought it was hilarious, DH thought it was a waste of money  Our upcoming trip will be our 2nd DSs first time on Splash, so I plan on getting the pic, even if he pulls the same thing his brother did. :)

We bought one last September. We look so goofy- very disneylike. There was a couple sitting behind that looked better in the picture than us 4- how funny!!!!!!!!!
