Who played "Guinevere" in 'The Love Bug'?

I recently re-watched 'The Love Bug' from 1968. I read in the iMdb trivia that Dean Jones played the bearded hippie at the drive-in restaurant, but I can't find anywhere that it names the actor that played his hippie friend, "Guinevere". All I could find was a comment somewhere that suggested it was Buddy Hackett, but the facial features and eye color are all wrong for it to be him. Help!

I would agree that it's not Buddy Hacket — the nose, cleft chin and eyes are different. Plus, trivia says that Dean Jones wasn't supposed to play that role, he had to convince the director to let him, so the hippies might have already be cast.

I was rewatching the Love Bug with grandchildren and when I saw the scene at the drive-in restaurant I would have sworn the person playing "Guinevere" was the same actor that played Captain Kangaroo, Robert Keeshan, and was trying to find confirmation, but I haven't found any yet. While I still think it "could" be Robert Keeshan, after seeing the reports that Dean Jones played the bearded hippie I wonder if it could have been David Tomlinson. I'm pretty sure it wasn't Buddy Hacket though.

I believe that just means that Tennessee Steinmetz was Jim's friend and roommate.
