who packs light for the parks?

Our last trip we were stroller free and backpack free and it was so nice. DD and I each carry a small across the chest purse. Hers holds her auto book & pen, mine holds $$, tickets & migraine meds. It was great!

Last time, we didn't take any bag at all. DBF held our camera, ID's and money in his pockets. However, this year we are going in August and we are thinking it would be a good idea to have some ponchos, so in that case we will be bringing a small bag.

DH and I travel especially light! ... Ain't life with no kids grand?

Ah, those were the days! When I was a CM and I took non-CM friends for day trips, I would carry my WDW ID, maingate pass, credit card, and car keys in my front right pocket. That was it.

Now I go with DH, DD5, and DS2. We have a diaper bag that is so packed to the gills, DD's autograph book won't fit inside. So she carries that in a fanny pack along with pens, pennies, and pressed penny book.

Just goes to show you how having kids changes every aspect of your life -- down to what you consider to be the daily necessities that absolutely have to come to the parks with you. How can such small people require such a large amount of stuff?
