Who opens gifts on Christmas Eve ??

We usually do one gift + new PJ's on Christmas Eve. The rest is left for Christmas Day.

Or, like this year, my Mother in law is here this week until Saturday, so on Friday night we are going to have an early Christmas with her and we will exchange gifts and the kids can open their gifts from Gramma. Kinda like having Christmas for a week!

We spend C. Eve at my mom's house, so we open gifts there with her and my brother.
Christmas morning we open our gifts here, then go to my inlaws and open more gifts.

My side of the family has their larger celebration and opens presents on Christmas Eve--in the German tradition.

We go to the late service on Christmas Eve. When we get home it is Christmas because it's always after midnight. We open all the gifts then. That way we can sleep in a little on Christmas morning and no one has bed-head hair in the pictures.

Santa delivers the gifts while someone drives with kids to see all the pretty lights and decorations in a subdivison where it is a contest to decorate best.

It depends on when we have the kids over Christmas. I think it works out to three days of Christmas for me this year.

This year
Christmas Eve Eve: We will each open one gift (and maybe a family gift)
Christmas Eve: This will be our Christmas morning with the kids, all gifts will be opened except DH and I are saving one each to exchange on Christmas morning.
Christmas Morning: DH and I will exchange one gift.
