Who officiated at your weddings? Or who will be? We are thinking of eithier Rev Jack Day or Rev Tim Herring, any recomendations???
Thanks ladies, who needs a wedding planner when we have the boards:cool1:

Rev. Jack - all my email and phone conversations with him have been very nice. He seems like a sweet old grandfatherly guy.

what happens when you are from the UK? I would like Rev Jack Day as i have seen him in many photos and think he seems good.

How would i go about booking him? Do you know his fees? Or does Disney include an officiant in a Wishes wedding? (silly question that i should know, but need to ask!)

I had Rev Kevin Knox, everyone like him.

You have to book an officiant for a wishes wedding.

We had Ron Rosinswig (I think that is how you spell it) He was on the recommended list of people to perform the ceremony through Disney. Well let me tell you...if you were thinking about going with him...really think hard. We wanted a sand ceremony and to have it involve our parents since we are from blended families...he was fine with it. We wrote the ceremony ourselves becuase you cant find one that involves 4 sets of parents...lol. Well he met up with Mike before the ceremony to talk about it. Mike was setting it up...Ron didn't understand it so he kept putting the idea down. Also we had a memorial candle. We wanted to have the names read off that were there with us in spirit. He told me no becuase it would be sad. That is for us to decide not him. We actually went back and forth over email about how we wanted him to say the names of our family members...I eventually had to write out exactly what I wanted him to say...and just had to tell him that he had to say it. I know this might sound harsh and a bit zilla-ish...but come on now...who is he to say that he isnt going to read the names of our family members...it is not his wedding. Through the entire wedding he sounded like a broken record...he jut ran through it like "oh ive done this a million times" not really pausing like he was actually talking to people. Then to top it all off...while my familly is lining up to have our staged exit...he takes the papers that have the ceremony on it and basically throws it at my mother. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM WHAT SO EVER!!!

We are using Rev. Miller...so far I'm pretty happy with communications etc. We booked him WAY far in advance, because we really wanted him after seeing him on some sneak peeks and videos...

He's very easy to talk to so far....hopefully things will go smoothly when it comes time to start creating the ceremony...:goodvibes

We were going to use Rev Jack but he was booked so he told us about Tim Herring...we went with Tim and loved him to death. He was perfect for us!

We had a religious ceremony and we attened a Methodist church and so does Rev Tim so that worked out perfect :) :) :)

My DD was married 12/07/2008 and had Rev. Tim. We loved him! He listened to what we wanted and took control of everything. We really felt that the wedding itself was under control and he took care of it! One less thing to think about! Good Luck with your decision!!

We are using Rev Randall Miller. We met with him at a resteraunt back in November and he was Fantastic. Really funny and easy to talk to.

Linz xxx :)

We used Rev Jack. He was AMAZING!!! He really made our ceremony magical and perfect. All our guests loved him. He is so sweet and yes he is just like a grandad. Highly recommend him!

I booked Pastor Luther Kistler. We liked him immensely when we met with him--he embodied what we were looking for: someone older, friendly, and not too "slick."

My wedding is the weekend after next, so I'll let you know how things go at the actual ceremony :thumbsup2 but I have high hopes being that I really like his demeanor.

i am availabe for weddings..

We had Randal Miller and loved him. He was fantastic. Very easy to communicate with and put us both at ease. He is in some of our photos. Check it out if you like at Davis / Lagace Wedding

We were married July 2003 and had Rev Jack. The thing we all loved about him was that even though we had only spoke with him a few times it felt like he had known us forever when he did our ceremony. Like an old friend.:)
