My youngest daughters first Dance Recital- actually from the dress rehearsal last night- since no cameras allowed at the real thing tonight. I'm not crazy about the eye make-up but that's how they had all the kids.
More are HERE on my Flickr site if anyone wants to see.

especially since they don't let you take photos why the concern for their faces to show up and ita with rtphokie
) from the 'booth'. I think for the most part it's because a lot of people don't know how to turn off the flash and don't know how to turn off the LCD screen and it is a huge annoyance if you happen to be right behind one of those folks. At rehearsal I sat behind two women taking pictures- one with a P&S and the other a dslr kit w/ a pop-up flash. I watched them both take hundreds of pictures- constant flash bulbs going off- the dslr shots looking hardly any better than the P&S- they were both so dark you could hardly see anything- but they kept on and on. As strange as it sounds I am kind of glad that is not going on x100 on performance night. I just enjoyed the show.
,I did preorder the DVD though) And they are selling professional pictures as well. but I do think the main thing is the flash. Most people don,t get that the flash will NOTHING for them that far back.
