LOL, when my youngest was about 10 months I found a little outfit that had a smiling alarm clock on it and it said "Mommy's little alarm clock" right on it.
Neither one of my DDs ever made me lose sleep. It is my cats. Either they are screaming at me to get up to feed them since they eat early during the week when I am working. Or they are fighting amongst themselves. Or one of them is nugging my arm or purring in my face looking for "lovins" as we call it. Each cat fights for extra attention. Worst then kids.
Just wait. Now it's "what?!! Why do I have to get up? It's only 9:30. I'm supposed to get to sleep in on Saturday. I get up early all week and Saturday is my one day....blah,blah,blah"
We have company coming at 10 and my almost teenager (he'll be 13 in a few weeks) thinks it's going to kill him. I swear to you, from the day he got his first pimple it was a total switch from waking at the crack of dawn to watch cartoons to lying in bed half the day.
My alarm clocks are the four legged kind. It seems since the normal time to let them out is 5:30am, they think that includes weekends. Just imagine 3 crosslegged doggies whining at my door at 6 or 7.
I have several of these two legged alarm clocks myself. Not only does the alarm go off early on the weekends, but they also at all hours of the night and the alarm won't stop when it's time to go to bed. Can you believe eve the doze button malfuntions in the afternoon during nap time.
