I need a new watch. I never had a Mickey mouse watch, decided that seeing a watch face like that would remind me of the happy goals I'm working for.

There are a bunch of inexpensive ones on Amazon, but with variable reviews. Does anyone have a recommendation?

When you go on your disney trip check out the current promote in the gift shops. In Dec it was a watch & a bag. I got the watch and love it. I forget the exact promo maybe spend $50 and get the watch for $25.

I have a silver and gold Tinkerbell watch I wear every day. It's dressy enough that you wouldn't know it was Disney unless you were pretty close.

I got it in one of the stores on Main Street.

It replaced a similar Mickey Mouse watch I got in Hollywood Studios (and lost while Trick or Treating in 2011)

1) Loving a watch is a strange term.
2) However, I do like my Mickey watches.
. . . (1) gold tone, Mickey face: very, very cheap for casual use
. . . (1) silver plated, silver face: semi-formal for office and work
. . . (1) gold plated, black face: very formal for dress clothes or tux
. . . (1) one gold tone, gold face: pocket watch with gold chain

NOTE: I have a small collection of watches, and do switch them
frequently. But, over all, the Mickey watches get the most use.
Thank goodness I got them with CM discount for 40% and 50% off,
otherwise, I doubt I would have bought them.

I have a super cute Minnie watch in gold and brown from JC Penney. Most people don't even realize it has a Minnie on it!

My husband has a Citizen Eco-Drive Mickey watch that he bought at WDW. It is very good looking with a small Mickey. It never needs to be wound or needs a battery. He loves it!

We have had very good luck with citizen Eco drives. I just sent mine out to have the watch face replaced (scratches) but I have not had any problems with the watch and I bought mine in 2005. Dh is interested in this Mickey Mouse Eco drive... Hmmmm will have to keep ours open.

I love my Mickey watch. It has a larger dial in silver and white with crystals at 12, 3, 6, 9 and a white leather band. I bought it at Disney 2 yrs ago I think it was around 70. I wear it everyday it's a reminder of my trip and my goal to go back

I had a black citizens mickey watch that I loved, but it had leather band, and I don't really care for leather bands. I've also had several Mickey Skagen watched that I've paid $90-125 ish...I know it's not exactly budget, but I've also had non-Disney Skagen watches that I liked, so it was worth it to me :)

I've had this one:

I have loved all my disney watches right now I am wearing a pink minnie one I got at Walmart for like 20 bucks. I wear it pretty much every day (uless I wear another one of my mickey watches :goodvibes) They are affordable and last a long time. I switchoff between a few diferent ones I have and get a bit of Mickey every day.
Sears also has a nice selection of them too also at affordable prices.

I got one a few years ago at World of Disney in DTD. It has the Fab 6 around the dial in place of the even numbers! I have had it for 3 years now so not sure if they still make the exact same one but it has worked very well.

One problem with the less expensive watches is that if they do stop working or have difficulties - the repair will cost more than you paid for the watch.

That being said, over the course of the last 20 years, I have had and lost 2 Goofy watches (the ones where it runs counter clockwise) and I currently have a tinkerbell watch from the Disney store that my husband bought me, oh, wow, it's been 10 years at least! That watch took a swim acidently with me in the Atlantic and despite drying it completely, it has slowly deteriorated - it runs, but will only keep time for about 2 hours before it starts losing seconds or minutes. The watch shops have all given me different stories about what's wrong with it, but all came up with the same solution - completely replace the interior because of some way that it's designed.

I also currently have a Minnie Mouse watch that we bought from Epcot TimeWorks in 2006 or 2008. Besides the usual battery and bands, I haven't had any problems with it.

I get a new Disney watch every year. It is my annual Disney souvenir. I like leather bands, and just look and see which one I like best.
