Who loves the Contemporary?

The convenience of the Contemporary ry can't be beat but it's hard for me to love. It felt a little Grand Central Station ish to me and I'm from NY so that's not a bonus. I think that's why AKL and WL are my faves....they really feel like an escape.

Pro tip: Stay at BLT. Same amenities and awesomeness but has such a nice quiet feel. It feels like staying at a spa to us.

That probably would have made a huge difference. I felt that the main hotel where we stayed was terribly noisy. Is there food at BLT or do you have to go into the main hotel?

You walk to the CR across the sky bridge. It's a 5 min walk. There is the Top Of The World Lounge on the top floor of BLT but you need to be a DVC member staying on points to access it.

We love CR and it is our preferred place to stay. I stayed at CR when I was 5 and have found memories of it. On our first trip in 2016 we stayed there and if budget was not an issue would stay there every time. We love the walk to MK and my kids love MK so it's a win. We just got back from a long Labor Day weekend trip and we stayed at AKL. it was nice but we loved being able to come and go from MK when ever we wanted with the walking path.

We got to visit CR with dinner at chef Mickeys and both my daughters likeed that we visited the hotel we stayed in last year.

My 6 year old daughter has her heart set on a little mermaid room for our next trip, so looks like no CR but we will have to visit with another dinner at chef Mickeys.

We've stayed at the Contemporary (BLT) twice and love it there. Since then we've stayed at WL and the Poly (twice). Each visit, we've gone back to CR while monorail resort hopping or for dining, and our kids remind us next trip, they want to stay at the Contemporary again!
